Top 8 ballwinners kicked at less than 56% efficiency.

David King "There's gotta be something wrong with the system.....nothing's easy at Carlton"

Not good enough for an experienced wing.

Lucas a second gamer and only played 3/4s had 9 disposals at 66.7% eff., 2 marks, 3 clearances and 182m gained.

Bring in Ben on the other wing and give Acres a run in the 2s.
May as well invest in the future now.

Couldn’t agree more with this throw Binns in as well

Lewis Young is the softest, lacking intensity player I’ve ever seen. Massive liability.

Ollie is too soft. With questionable skills. Didn’t put his head over it in the last, allowed oppo to get the ball first and went the tackle….cost us a goal. Inexcusable.

Acres. WTF are you doing?

We all love him but time is up for Doc. Putrid skill level.

Too many passengers and liabilities. Way too many.

Where was our plan to add pace and skill and a second tall defender?

Forgot Watson.

Winger
One/two key defenders
Elite small forward

Look at Carlton in comparison.

We are a dumb football club from top to bottom. We need a massive clean out.

TDK will leave and go to the saints. Why stay at a $hit club when you can go to another $hit club and get paid a lot more.

Motlop needs to ditch the long sleeves
He attracts to many long balls.

5 touches from Charlie, including 2 marks.
8 touches from Young, where was he positioned most of the game, defence or forward?

if Young played as CHF, that’s 13 touches from our KPF spine,
if Kemp was trying to do an Earl Spaulding then make that 11 touches from our spine.

and given how we bomb it in they must think we have a spine without H and with an underdone AF Charlie who can’t get away from be double/triple manned at the best of times… even when Harry is on fire a drawing either of the top two KPD opposition players.

how is this not obviously appallingly poor team selection and brains trust work… i reckon bring Parko out of retirement at any price and payout the entire MC on their contracts with a “Thanks for you outstanding work over the years” card and drinks after the game next week send off. i mean even some under age coaches could think this out better than our MC.

the selections and the game strategy just didn’t add up. even if we had have had some better fortune with the goal reviews, goal kicking from Motlop and JSOS, less fumbles nd won the game, we’d still have to answer the question, how did we pick our two most important forwards and design a game plan around them and get basically SFA out of them?

so sick of this dumb selection and game plan around injured or underdone key players bs from Voss and his committee who are starting to resemble the three stooges, as are some of our players when it comes to marking and ‘first touch’ disposal.

Not sure why we are so conservative with our list management

The rebuild was looking shaky after Teague and we have done nothing about it

We topped up with players like Martin, McGovern and Williams thinking we were close

Huge mistake

Should have balanced our list further with youth and pace

Now we are in the wilderness again

Fox Footy commentators summed it up.
The game has moved on from the inside contested game, it's now an outside game with run and is worth 2 fold the inside game.
Who would've thought.

Look i know he's played in flags but you've got gunstan getting 6 or so touches but kicking 2 from the boundary that didn't look like missing, and we've got docherty and Haynes fumbling and bumbling. It just doesn't make any sense

What we saw tonight was one club who is moving in leaps and bounds due to their recruiting / list management and the other spiralling downwards through poor recruitment / list management.

It wouldn’t matter who we drafted Voss would refuse to play them they might be to quick for he’s likening and Voss game plan is our biggest problem game plan is the same style when he coached Brisbane and we know how that went

Yuck. We aren’t anywhere near it. And the future looks bleak with our draft picks.

Am I wrong in saying … the best football we’ve played in the last 2 decades was under ratten?

Another era where our bottom 6 players were the worst in the comp. But we ran and we attacked and it was exciting to watch.

What we're producing under Voss is absolute dross. Dire, slow fumbly footy where “throw it on the boot and pray” seems to be our mantra all over the ground …

Talking to a mad Carlton guy thru the game. He’s more mad Carlton than me. And he says he’s done. He can’t handle it anymore. I wonder how many more are this close

That's the other thing. They got out of trouble or launched a raid purely on foot or hand skill. Yet carlton are the world record holders of the bonehead clanger play that stuffs a goal up or gives one up

19.05 tomorrow evening get on the AFL app and watch the reserves play.

After watching them come on here and tell me which one of the players we didn't select this week is worthy of a game.
