I'm glad I'm on holidays overseas and it was too hard to watch this game.

We were due for a bad patch
First quarter was it
Any team can whip another team if teams are 5% off
We have been 100% on for 2 months
Yet we won
The comp will continue to become more even
So get used to fluctuating form
On the game
Marchbank Ed are liabilities in my view
I think we are better without Pittonet
Voss needs to find a role for McKay
We looked too top heavy today

And just on Martin for the morons who only select some things I say about players
And I have written this before
Martin is a terrific mark
Great hands
Can kick the ball well
Tackles well
But when the ball is in dispute and he can get to the ball at the same time as the opposition player rather than getting it first or arriving second to the ball thus laying a tackle he squibs it
Like he did in the first

I personally admire any player of any club who never take a short step because it’s a @#$%&! tough game
Like Cripps
Like Rowell
I personally have no bias when it comes to this whether a player from any club does or doesn’t show this trait
Martin did a good job today up forward
He is a talented player

The ability to win ugly is a great sign. Carlton of old would lose that easily… just not prepared to do the hard work. Not this team. Yes, needed Charlie to light the spark but that’s what happens with great teams.
Should finish 5th or 6th now!’n

For all those bagging Ed, whom would you have picked as sub instead?

My god the stress levels.

Absolutely rapted to pull that out. Not sure how but we’ll take it, qualify for finals and get the @#$%&! out of there.

Watched with my boy in a Chicago hotel room, currently 2.08am.

Doubt I’ll get any sleep :smoking:

FINALSSSSSSSSSS

Tough day, started slowly but worked hard and were good enough to win away. Another positive

9 in a row with injuries we have had is an incredible effort

Now we will get some much needed some class back into the side. Bring effort and we can beat anyone

That was harder than it needed to be... that 1st qtr was inexcusable

Now we can say the F word... FINALS baby

I was saying the F word back in the 1st qtr and half way through the last...haha.

I think you’ll find it’s 75.

Proper roller coaster of emotions today. We were gone. We looked every bit as bad as the dark days of rounds 8 - 13. Then we were back in a 10 minute burst led by King Charles. Then we wasted it for a quarter kicking 1.7 and keeping the suns in it. Then we were gone again with suns full of running and all the momentum. And finally Charlie got us into the lead again and then saved the game.

We won ugly today. But we won. We found a way. I keep doubting this team. They keep making me look silly and I love it

Doh I just looked at the ladder and it had 75 and an asterisk next to it. It said the asterisk means Rd 23 not included.

I still think he can reach 100 in the GF NB
