we don't play with any purpose. we don't cover the ground. we don't look for space, but most damning we look lost and confused. there's a big disconnect with the messages from the coaching group to the players.

list management and development is deplorable too.

imagine locking up core players of a bottom 6 team for the next 6-7-8 seasons. haha

footy IQ - if we have any we must have great conversatiosn before and after a game cos there is no display of it during a game - 5 blokes tackle, leaving three of them free....and miss the tackle anyway. Three go for mark...no one down...lonmg bombs to their interceptors...this team has lost itself

I deleted all my footy apps
I unfollowed everyone that has anything to do with CFC on social
I just cancelled the sports package on Foxtel
I redirected my kayo package to a binge package
I’m done!

The worst part about this is they are busting their arses for no reward

I hope someone pulls up footage of Docherty's "effort" during the week. Disgusting putrid jogging once they have the footy. Either we drop him or just accept that is the tone and continue to get rolled.

the way we grind away in our F50 for no result just to watch the ball ping coast to coast for a goal... rinse and repeat. all. season. long.

The gameplan is either archaic
OR
the players haven't bought in and confused/not following instruction
OR
players have checked out as they've heard a rumour that Voss' position is untenable and will be sacked after we lose to Essenson

If this list were playing to their full potential, we would be in the 8...pure and f%^& simple

There is omething fundamentally wrong in the locker room

PS. Motlop has been gifted an entire season...If I were coach, I'd have in the 2s for the remainder of the year

Don't know what happened to Kennedy. 20 disposals to 3 qtr time and didn't have one in the last quarter.

Cripps 2 disposals in the last quarter; spent a lot of time forward.

So many kicks inside 50 to Carlton players who shouldn't be the target; or to Lever.

It's infuriating but so predictable.

Smashed in contested possession and lost clearances. Not surprising with the ruck matchup, however there were too many broken tackles as well.

I admire his courage but Doc was done awhile ago

Racking up cheap possessions doesn’t help this team

I can't help but think it all goes back to leg speed...while we built for contest the game shifted and its about speed and covering a lot of ground quickly - we have so few players who can do that and none of our best ones.

Why the hell voss starts docherty in the centre at opening bounce. an indictment of us.

He rolled his ankle pretty bad. 20 of our players would have taken the ice and called it a night but he toughed it out. He might be speed restricted but @#$%&! he would be in the first three picked every week for me

Yes, and it was the same last week, and I actually attended the game live.

The lack of footy smarts is actually scary. Small things that make a big difference.
Last week it was McGovern failing to lay a block and instead holding the swans player and getting a free against.
This week it was Gawn’s 4th quarter goal from outside 50; no one protecting the wide arc we all knew he’d run. In fact; Owies was in a decent spot and then moved backwards instead of running at him.

There’s plenty of other examples. Really basic things that don’t happen if you’re switched on and playing smart.
