Don't know what happened to Kennedy. 20 disposals to 3 qtr time and didn't have one in the last quarter.

Cripps 2 disposals in the last quarter; spent a lot of time forward.

So many kicks inside 50 to Carlton players who shouldn't be the target; or to Lever.

It's infuriating but so predictable.

Smashed in contested possession and lost clearances. Not surprising with the ruck matchup, however there were too many broken tackles as well.

I can't help but think it all goes back to leg speed...while we built for contest the game shifted and its about speed and covering a lot of ground quickly - we have so few players who can do that and none of our best ones.

Yes, and it was the same last week, and I actually attended the game live.

The lack of footy smarts is actually scary. Small things that make a big difference.
Last week it was McGovern failing to lay a block and instead holding the swans player and getting a free against.
This week it was Gawn’s 4th quarter goal from outside 50; no one protecting the wide arc we all knew he’d run. In fact; Owies was in a decent spot and then moved backwards instead of running at him.

There’s plenty of other examples. Really basic things that don’t happen if you’re switched on and playing smart.
