We kicked 31 points from kick ins in the 2nd half.

Jordan Lewis said the average is 3 points a week.

Unheard of.

NM 47 to 0 was the use of the corridor in the 1st half

This team has gears and Vossy has everyone guessing.

In Vossy I trust. 3 flags in a row. That’ll do.

Enjoy the ride.

we’ve got a touch of the Muhammad Ali about us hey…!

I’ve been on that one since the Richmond game.
Was talking to London blue about it yesterday.

Vossy measures the opposition in 1st qtr or half.
We aren’t kicking 7 in the first quarter or 2nd thus far.
We have weapons. Vossy at the controls.

Its not often I'll say Im unhappy with a 4 goal win. But Im going to.

That first half was disgraceful, especially against a below average team in NMFC.

To let them finish off the game with 4 unanswered goals, is really not acceptable.

Take the win, but wowsers, the next thing I need to see is us bury a team (and we should have tonite), this needs to happen, starting next game.

Great to see Harry and Charlie getting amongst it. Thought Harry left a few out there.
But 14 marks from Harry was sensational
They got those late goals because Gov went off.
The defence was great again.
Motlop busy.
Honey nah
LOB oh please no more
Thought the midfield owned the 3rd quarter but were beaten the rest of the game
Best Charlie Harry Gov Weiters Saad

Unbeaten and on top you got to be happy

Harry was easily BOG for mine, despite Charlie's 6. Huge effort, and that's not taking anything away from Charlie. It seems it's okay to punch Harry in the head but he performed without help from the umps tonight.

Great third from Fisher - he needed to show something.
Great second half from Cripps after having his colours lowered (although he still often gets pulled away from the contest with no footy in hand with no free to show for it).
Loved Cerra'a effort with poked eye vision (suspected there was a bit of Clarko going on with a few of our injuries, dirty mongrels).
McGovern needed a good one and delivered, as did a tight back unit under pressure in the first half (I'm really trying not to provide double entendres but what the hey).
I do rate JSOS's nouse but he blotted his otherwise decent copybook tonight by getting in Charlie's way in the square at least once and overcooked at least three passes (is it the readjust to indoors syndrome?). It's great that he's going for his speccies but he has to land them or else get out of the way.
I'm hoping everyone's favourite whipping boy LOB will be better for a full run (he might still be dropped next week). His decision making and application are still suspect but he was important for our second half surge.
Great clutch goal by Motlop, who'd struggled up to that point. We built from there. (I was really dismayed at how pathetic we looked when they got the first goal of the third, but we shook it off.)

Bank it and onward and upward. Our best start since '95, they say. I remember that. We all 'kept a lid on it' that year in case we stuffed up again. We're not in that team's class yet but who knows where we can go before the season's out? (And bugger off, Clickbait Cornes.)

Go Blues!

Effie’s impressive. So this is saying that North have a higher avg games than us. And we had a younger avg age.

Haha they give us no credit. And with an unstable midfield we have had so far, they dont mention that.

I dont think we are particularly playing well so far, but i wanna see us with a full team.

I wonder when the last time a Carlton player kicked 4 goals from free kicks like Charlie today

I think it maybe a 1st I can't ever recall it

It's about time

As expected, Clarkson's Kangaroos highlighted our physicality as being an issue, and threw everything at us. This has been a theme so far this year.
The positive side, we responded, a little later than we should have, but we showed we can match clubs physically. We need to get respect at this part of our game.
Goldspink was too good for Pitto today, but at least our midfield started to win their fair share of clearances in the 2nd half, with Cripps getting dirty.
A big call out to our young brigade in Hollands, Motlop and Cowan. Very impressive kids.
Cerra and Fisher kept us in the game in the 1st half through the middle of the ground - thank goodness.
Can't wait to see Walsh and Kennedy back next week. They add the missing link to our midfield.
I can't stress enough, if Ed isn't tagging, then please don't play him. We love the guy but he offer little outside of his career role.
Also find it hard to believe our senior guys still struggle to stick a tackle. It's so frustrating to watch.

ps. BIG FYOU CLARKSON
