Courageous effort by Acres to play out the game, but he’d have to be in serious doubt. In that event, LOB not only avoids the axe but probably comes into the 22. What other wing options do we have with Cottrell out and Binns not ready?

Who replaces Owies? I guess it’s a choice between Honey, Fogarty & Cunningham. I know Cunningham has only played the one VFL game, but if he’s got the track work behind him I’d be tempted to put him straight in. Honey is the most likely though (assuming he isn’t injured too - he didn’t play the second half in the VFL today, hopefully he was just held back as an emergency).

Perhaps if Kennedy is ready to come back, he comes in for Owies, with Honey as sub?

Seems about right ABNS, or what about Cincotta for Acres (if injured) Doc to the wing? Rather see LOB out of the team.

Given it was a calf issue (& it's Carlton) I don't think Kennedy is a walk up start for this game. Excuse the pun

Don’t be surprised if Acres misses weeks like Jack Steele is.

There is only tickets for level 3 left so it looks like there will be a good crowd.

Kind of wanted North to win yesterday to make it an even better crowd

Fisher and LOB have had ample time to show something but they aren't up to it let alone Fish cant play for 4 quarters.

Depth players.

If Acres played out the game, does that imply he plays on Good Friday?

MC took the cautious route resting Kennedy last week. He should play.

Walsh = Round 4 or 5 return. Well, its round 4 and he's ready.
Maybe because its against a Clarkson team we should avoid playing Walsh given he will be targeted with the intent of being maiming by a Clarkson hit man.

our midfield should dominate this game ... give the forwards enough supply and we should win comfortable.

I don’t think an extra couple of people will make that much difference

I'll never forget (or forgive) in the last game of the season Clarkson stacking the back line to prevent Fev getting his century. Hawthorn a mile in front and he did that, showed what sort of person he is. In the presser afterwards he couldn't keep the shit eating grin off his face when asked about why he did it. Just a miserable, nasty piece of work. The type who revels in the misfortune of others.

Low life on all fronts. His kinghit from behind on Ian Aitken is the single lowest act I have seen on a footy field.

I look forward to several years of smashing Clarkson and Mitchell teams. Bullied us mercilessly when we were shit and they were world beaters.

Time to flip that script.

North... Irrelevant.

Hawthorn... Had it far too good for far too long.

Need to destroy North this week and get that percentage humming. Don't subscribe to the 'we have the draw so percentage doesn't matter' argument.

Richmond will be in the mix, and regardless, learning how to ruthlessly destroy teams like teams have done to us for the past 20 years is something I'd quite like a taste of.

Cobra Kai. Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy.

I hope the roof is closed.

Firstly, a massive compression session. And who doesn't love a hotbox.
Secondly, we're more likely to hit targets than at that shit-hole cow paddock we played on yesterday.

Isn't the roof always closed now?
