If we get a readymade Tall in MSD they may be chance. Hopefully Pittonet & McKay not that far away

Effendruggies will have Stringer back, and play a tall team.

Stringer in the middle has given us head aches, but with Cripps Hewett and Keenedy in the middle, we have plenty of fire power for Stringer.

Hopefully Austin pulls a huge success in the MSD to offer us a much needed tall.

Pitto...round 16??
Harry ...round 14??

Just hope Marchbank can make a quick return to form to take the role of a 3rd tall interceptor.
Kemp is the only one available to help out Young and Plow (our 3rd and 4th string defenders in the preseason)

Does the VFL play this week?
If so, do they have a bye in the coming weeks?
If not, Marchbank could have pretty much another 4 weeks to get right for the Freo game in Round 15.
As long as his recent knee injury was really just a knock, would that be enough for him to get his strength, confidence and match fitness up?
I would not expect him to tear the house down, but hope he could play a solid role and provide more than some of those currently in the team?

Despite our injuries, they're a rabble. If we can't find a way to win, we don't deserve to play finals, it's as simple as that.

Get it done!

So we don't have our first choice ruckman, Coleman medallist, best one win one key back in the AFL, our best intercepting defender from earlier this season. Add one of the better ball using half backs in Zac Williams and we don't deserve to play finals if we lose to Essendon*?

If we can win 2 of our next 4 games with our injuries it will be a good effort. I don't care who we beat. It will be all about the win/loss number.
Then we can attack the last third of the season with hopefully a healthier list. If we get 13 wins (which I believe we'll need with our relatively poor %), we'll deserve to play finals. Especially as we've had the biggest impediment to date of all the potential finalists with injuries.
Make the finals with a fit list and anything's possible.

Richmond won the flag without Rance.

Eagles won the flag without Gaff and NicNat.

Good sides adapt. Yes, we have more injuries. But, beating a woeful Essendon* who have a 2-9 record is a much lesser task than winning a flag so this offsets the extra injuries.

I stand by my comment above.

Yes way more injuries.
Harry and Weiters (both AA key position on current form) as well as Pittonet, Marchbank, McGovern and Williams makes a big difference. We badly missed Kennedy and Martin (don't know why we overlooked him) last weekend as well.

I didn't say it is right.
