He only played 65 games for us, but he certainly left an impression. Similar to Buzz in that regard. I guess premiership players stay in the memory more strongly. Deepest condolences to his family. |

A big game player no doubt but also very consistent Bear and he formed a formidable roving combination and was part of the reason why we played finals consistently . Both had complementary skills |

Couldn't believe it when I heard he'd passed away. Didn't know he'd been battling cancer. RIP Nales, you'll live forever in the hearts of all Bluebaggers. |

Did I miss any acknowledgement of Naley's passing on AFL360 and On the couch; or did they just not mention it at all? |

It's hard to maintain a rational position that there isn't a genuine anti-Carlton bias in the AFL media sometimes. |

The anti-Carlton bias has been going on for years, especially on OTC I've actually found OTC to be reasonable with us. 360 is another matter altogether I'll bet it will be part of the last shout on TFB |

camel wrote: Did I miss any acknowledgement of Naley's passing on AFL360 and On the couch; or did they just not mention it at all? Naley was a quiet achiever for us. I looked at his age. Too young. RIP. 2 weeks in a row they haven't mentioned us at all OTC apart from when they talk about the team w played (which played right into Nick Reiwoldt's hands as he is ex StK so got an extra run at it). They are so keen to talk about Melbourne, StK and Brisbane (what a surprise) and now how poor Adelaide have to rebuild. It's oK. We have Sellers on 360 and Eddie Betts has been on 2 weeks in a row. |
