Harry and Dow will be struggling to hold their places in this weeks team, I can easily see Fisher replacing Dow but Harry might be saved by lack of replacement, although I would like to see the King have a chance this year.

Unless they were prepared to play 2 rucks and bring in Kreuzer for Harry. Harry needs a reality check and a reminder that talent only gets you so far.

NO! For the love of god do not play kreuzer and Phillips in the same team. I agree Harry needs a spell but at least he takes the number 1 defender

No reason we can't win this one as well. Teague has said in various pressers that this team knows they're good enough.....they've done the work and are ready. It's showing on the field each week. We lose players and bring in another one to get the job done, and we win. They are playing as a team, 11 or more scorers each week, and fringe players are contributing more and more.

It's exciting to be shaping the 8 at the pointy end, and next year we should be playing finals ourselves. Win this and lets get 80,000 to the G to take on the Tiges.

So, it's the reigning Premiers V the reigning Wooden Spooners.

Would seem to be a mismatch on paper at least.

But the game won't be played on paper.

Anything is possible Blues. Just believe it :!: :!: :!:

Harry will stay. He actually got his hands to a lot of the footy bu they didn't stick. He could have ended up with three even though he looked lost out there. if he clicks (and he eventually will) he'll kick a heap.
Tommy called him 'laconic'. He may be right. I don't think he isn't trying, he just isn't clunking his marks like he was and his kicking has the yips.
Dow is an interesting one. I am not sure he will be first to go. DeLuca might be the one. Fisher will come back for someone. Maybe Kennedy's ankle won't come good for next week.

West Coast are expected to and should win this game. We're playing good footy but we are where we are - still a way to go before we have a premiership list. That said, if we bring the same intensity as we have been and get off to a good start, we're in with a chance and I'll be pleased to be proven wrong. A competitive four quarter effort is all we ask for and the win against the reigning premiers would be a nice bonus.

The fact that they have penciled this match in a percentage booster absolutely triggers me. The absolute arrogance.

The Demons nearly knocked them off in Alice Springs (neutral venue) a couple of weeks ago.
If we play well then we are a reasonable chance.

I hope they are complacent after wiping the floor with the Roos on the weekend.

Harry had a very good one the previous week with a couple of goals and 10 marks. Prefer 2 forwards to 2 rucks, who aren't very good forwards. Harry's been down since he hurt himself but often still good for a goal or two a week even if playing crap. By taking the no.1 defender it helps Levi.

Saw he got 5 marks but only 4 touches. What happened to the 5th one?

I watched Harry's efforts to chase and pressure once the ball was in Crow's hands. It was below average at best.

That was the 'play on' call after his mark on the 50m line at the Ponsford Stand end. Called holding the ball despite putting his had up to say he was having a shot.

We almost beat them last year. And we're going a lot better right now. I reckon we're a pretty decent chance.
