It's our M.O and if we were realistic, we should have put money on it before the season started.
Have a dip against the Tigers but they overrun us in the last quarter.
Supporters turn up with expectation to a game we should win and we inevitably get pumped (Gold Coast)
Go in with little expectation against the Pies and win the game. It's got a bit of Groundhog day for me.

The one bit of brightness I see in it all is watching some of the kids take small steps. Fisher is showing more consistency this season and he does small things that put a smile on my face.
Charlie is becoming a top liner and its great to see Cripps out there playing footy. Cuningham needs to defend better but he's the one backman who offers surety of decision making and foot skills.
Samo had a bit more of the ball but he needs to tidy up his decision making a bit. There are times you can just weight the ball and let your team mate run onto it. He feels the need to drill it a metre off the ground every time which too often results in it landing at his team mates feet.

Hopefully Kreuzer and Kennedy back and we'll win by 20 points. Hopefully.

Biblical truth BV. My mates and I said the exact same thing last night. They do not have (and have not had it for years) the mental edge to win when expected to win. Go back to StK last year after we'd won a couple (or three....can't remember) in a row and expectations were high. The Saints ran us off our legs. We were witches hats that day

People still asking for poor Casboult's head. For two JLT games and round one we actually had a functioning forward line able to kick a score. This week we took Bolt out of the forwardline and our ability to score was poor. It's of course never just one thing but it was part of it. He is more important to our structures than people acknowledge imo.
