Isn't Garlett injured?
Surely ASOS is ready to come back if Marchbank isn't fit.
Dees will be looking to make up for their pathetic Friday night showing, another team on the rebound.

After a loss last week Melbourne will be extremely nervous playing us. We'll be similar to the Swans working them in close and unlike last time there's more stability in the plan and better ball use than in round 2, where we led them during the last qtr. Melbourne are turnover merchants, worse than us going into the F50.

Although we don't win that much we are as tough to play as any side in the competition, top or bottom.

yep, we really aren't that far away.

would've, could've, should've etc etc but win all the games we have been leading in the last qtr this year instead of losing them and we would be pushing top 4

look out next year

Garlett and Hogan may come back in for them, but Tyson and Viney will go out.

You mean 5 don't you...Jacksh would've been the other on FOR SURE...that's why he's not being considered for selection

Apologies for masking my weekly request for Jacksh to be played in an embedded sentence relating to Melbourne pissheads. It won't happen again untill next week

They have this great small forward who loves open space and has a lot of pace and party tricks. Keep an eye out for him.
Gartlett.

Deal with him the same way we dealt with Betts

IiRC Garlett missed due to hamstring, that is usually at least 2 weeks. Hogan straight in after missing what 6 - 8 weeks, that's a lot of footy missed.

Watts, Garlett, Jones and Hogan should be in the mix to come back.

i don't think this team worries about the oppositions ins or out,
we are a changed team to the past and this team has a appetite to fight
a few year ago we didn't even have a clear cut leader, now we have an abundance of choices, each with better characteristics, qualities and spirit than the last

Yes, another year's development and we win those games we led in the last qtr. This year simply being in that position shows the progress. We'll upset a couple more before the year is out.

Early in the season when KJ was kicking 2-3 a week and Jacob was struggling in our forward line i could understand people calling for his inclusion. I didn't necessarily agree but I indefinitely understood it. But based on his last few weeks (ignoring the suspension) and the comments from Fraser I am surprised people still think he deserves it right now. I still hope he strings together 3 solid VFL games after suspension and gets a shot though.

Assuming only Caleb is out, I wouldn't bother replacing him with another tall back this week, bring another runner in. If Weitering doesn't come up either, I'd bring up Harry Macreadie, looked good at the anthill yesterday. Think ASOS is a week or 2 away still.

Macreadie's praises are being sung on the website... Usually a good indicator of who may be brought up.... Still the match committee always do a like for like swap, so Weiters may be 'managed' if that happens

Go you good things
