LIAM JONES !

He had a cracker - and with ASOS going early stood up!

I hate Toby Greene - happy to see his cockiness flag get lowered a little today

Go Blues!

Even after we'd won still no mention of the missing Silvagni by the TV commentators!

LIAM JONES HAD JOHN PATTON TAKEN OFF HIM!!!

Think about that for a minute and it wasn't all team defence stuff either, beat him pointless on the lead and in the marking contest.

I would love to know what the MC think of KJ and Liam Jones as KP defenders.

Jones is 198cm, very quick and has an amazing leap. He turns 27 in Feb 2018. I wonder if he worth using as a defender. Guys like Grundy and Tarrant at the Roos played their junior career as forwards, as has Jones. I don't think he has ever been given the CHB roll for any length of time.

I know he runs Hot, luke warm and cold but at his size and with his closing speed perhaps he might be better being led to the ball. His fitness might be the issue as he has never had a big tank. This year's VFL form seems more promising as he is apparently showing a great deal more vigor and aggression.

I rest my case Your Worship. :thanks:

I called for this pre game. He is seriously a great Gorilla match up with his strength and spring.

Only problem is that GWS may be less likely to trade with us in the off season #nolongereasybeats!

I thought Kreuzer was immense, especially when the game was on the line.

Also, even though he turned it over, I thought Daisey was everywhere when it counted.

Our backline is in a very good space right now. Byrne and McCreadie for future too

Most disappointing that they only paid a dollar each.

Yep. Guilty. Lawns mowed. Car washed. I actually don't go to Etihad anymore. Hate the place.

Shouldn't Thomas's daughter have been in the middle for the song?
I don't recall her ever playing in a winning side.

So basically .. we won because a bloke who on paper should be 10 weeks away from delistment was actually AA but being played out of position and another who hasnt played in what ... a year?... and looks about 7kg over his playing weight kicked a running torpedo from the HBF. I'm loving it ...but you couldn't make this shit up if you tried!!
