I have just upgraded to a reserve seat so I will be there.

Kezza.. is this a fully ticketed game?

For a Collingwood home game it's likely the GA seating will be up the top, and possibly behind the goals at the Punt Rd end (where our cheer squad will be).

Collingwood essentially owns the Ponsford stand.

No doubt they'll be out for blood given the occasion and their recent performances (I can just picture Eddie reading ultimatums left right and centre), so I'd say our chances are slim, but not impossible.

But it would be oh so glorious.

Nobody in the football world gave us any chance against a winless team yesterday.
Now they will believe it against another less than mediocre outfit next week.
I wasn't surprised we got thrashed last week; Port are a very good team, an excellent outside running team and will have a good year.
Any team that's clearly a bottom 8 one such as Sydney and Collingwood we have to believe we can win.
Having said all that, SOS is out and Weitering a maybe. Smedts too so it will be difficult if we have to replace too many of our guys.

In many respects our backline is too tall for Collingwood, but I don't think they'll make anything but enforced changes this week.

No, but it only cost $15 to upgrade to a reserved seat so rather than take our chances sitting up in the back rows on level 4 we got reserved seats.

125th birthday for them next week, they're wearing a commemorative top and chose to play us.

Perfect stage for humiliation and the end of Buckley. We can do it.

Remember our 150th celebration with MM in charge?

It was a black day in history.

We owe them one on their 125th.

Big time.

Watching the NB's. Seen enough, Kerr in to replace SOJ next week, assuming he's out injured. Such a natural forward the way he reads it and leads. Looks a beauty.

Geelong's record though is just as flattering as Richmond's.
They haven't produced 4 quarters of footy and Melbourne fumbled and stumbled to a loss rather than the Cats winning it.
This likely win for the Pies hardly means they're back into premiership 2017 calculations; Geelong won't win it either.
Collingwood might just get overconfident. Or it's their 1 win in a row and back to mediocrity the next.
At least Essenspoon are losing; now I hope Richmond do the same today too.

Any update on Fishers hamstring? Hope Kruezer, Weitering, Silvagni and Smedts get up.

Part of me is glad they won today. More likely to underestimate us now.

They (Collingwood) killed Geelong in the clearances - not a bad effort considering who Geelong have in the middle. I think we will have to work pretty hard to beat them. Was surprised that they looked much more energetic than the cats given the short break from Anzac Day. Must be feeling it...

the gums haven't been playing badly at all, inaccurate yes and some small lapses in concentration but they have been playing with purpose and they won't be a push over

Silvagni cleared of structural damaged but apparently very sore and bruised.
I'd give him a week off and give a shot to Kerr, McKay or KJ

What an amazing atmosphere to start your career.

I'd like McKay or even Kerr if they are fit enough to see a game through.

I think the replacement will be a more mobile player who performed well in the NB's:
Prefer Boekhurst but it could be Kerridge or Thomas, but most likely the latter.
Boekhurst has played a few good ones in a row now. Hopefully Thomas is required to do the same.

Macreadie is due to return, but he's a backman.
Maybe White's spot for him, but then again everyone seemed to play a good game on the weekend.
IIRC our backline consisted of Rowe and Silvagni, Marchbank and Plowman, Dochert and Williamson.
I can't see Macradie replacing any of them in the backline.
