Great win today. Umps swallowed the whistle a few times, but we don't usually get the rub if the green from those guys......so I'll take it

Cunningham got bettr as he adjusted to the tempo. Promising.

Worst part of today and probably after next week is we lose two spots in the draft order

20 frees to us, 5 to them.

What is an appropriate free kick count?
20 to zero...lol.

Had son's footy and 2 family birthdays today so wasn't able to watch.

That must've been the difference

Can't wait to watch the replay. Love what I'm reading and hearing. Been a tough few months. Last week wrecked me.

He is back, a bit too late though.

nah, he has been great all year

he is a superstar

he has been even better this year considering all the expectations and pressure on him

hopefully we can build good support around him

Pros:

Terrific game from our rucks and Cripps and Gibbs.
Great to see a couple of different contributors on the scoreboard. 2 best games I've seen from Dylan Buckley. Maybe he's starting to feel like he belongs.
Defensive set ups excellent.
Weitering back to his early season form.
Wright's goal-assists.

Cons:

Graham's field kicking.
Thomas.

Bit of real magic from Cuningham in the last quarter. Very encouraging.

41k on a wet day for a nothing game is pretty good.

Wasn't a nothing game for them.

Our home game and they were long odds to make the finals given they have to play Geelong at sleepy hollow next week.

Good crowd.

I see that as real pro in that it might draw a final line in any chance on a contract extension

Last week's first half was a hangover of the rubbish we produced against St.Kilda. 2nd half, where we kicked 8.12, ran us into form and we carried it over this week.

Good crowd for sure, considering Melbourne supporters are very rare to spot and meet. Must have been disguised Essendon* supporters who were cheering against us 1 week early.

Pretty good game from P Cripps, Gibbs, Ed Curnow, Kreuzer and John Barker.

Melbourne haven't had such a big losing clearance differential in any game this season until today.

No idea. Reckon there were a few we should've got but didn't too.

If it had been reversed we'd no doubt be up in arms though.

They got caught HTB an awful lot.

I agree.
I'd add Armfield to the cons as well. He's been terrible the last couple of weeks.

As for the pro's, I really like Liam Jones' intent and attitude. Personally, I think he's worth another years development.

Was very strange that he was omitted in the first place. I reckon we could have beaten West Coke Eagles and Sydney had he played
