I'd say Hawthorn will target a Vic player to come home. And theirs rumours of GWS getting Walters for McCarthy plus you would assume a pick with that for Freo?

One of the funniest things I have read on this forum. Casboult has currency??? Teams wouldn't even offer us a 3rd rounder last year, but I guess after his amazing season this year we could definitely get pick 21 ... Dreaming !!!

After watching the highlights I wouldn't be opposed to see KJ or Jones come in for Curnow.

Jones looked awesome crashing those packs. Great set of hands and a good kick for goal.
If only he could take the next level. He could easily be a 40+goal a year forward.

McKay will get a game sooner rather than later as well you'd expect prob play at least another week in the vfl before getting a call up..

Casboult's best is good. His body must be letting him - and the team, down. If he had a foil like Eddie Betts, we'd be an entirely different team.

I feel some sympathy for Casboult, it would be hard work in Carlton's forward line, but the lack of any pressure from him when the ball hits the ground is frustrating. The game has long passed by old fashioned mark and kick forwards like him.

Kane Cornes was scathing on him for lack of pressure acts.

I think 'is knees are stuffed since the injury and its holding him back agility and endurance wise. He was never that agile or quick anyway and this has made it much worse. Unfortunately we don't have any alternative right now so we have to keep flogging him while MacKay and Curnow mature.

Liam Jones had currency a couple of years ago. We gave him a three year contract. Who is better - Casboult or Liam Jones?

Given Levi's form post-injury I wouldn't be averse to swapping Jones and Jaksch both in for Charlie and Casboult - especially given we are continuing to play two ruckmen

Good luck to anyone being picked for the game down at arctic park in Tassie.

Poisoned chalice going down there against this mob.

Casboult was a good target against the Swans. Only problem was he was double teamed a lot of the time, plus some of the foot passing to him was not great, hence the low stats.

I'd be happy to see both Jones and Jaksch selected after their great effort against Footscray last week.

My bet is Everitt for Curnow but prefer it wasn't.

We need players committed to playing hard footy against the Hawks

I believe we can win this...if everyone has a dip.
