Personally I'm beginning to suspect that the whole Essendon******** flat out doping, drug cheating, getting away with it, !@#$'n Hird, trippy drug cheat Fletcher and the conga line of media suck-holes busily fellating all things red and !@#$'n black has somewhat clouded my judgement.
AFL is a business. They don't get a cent of my money anymore (canned membership, haven't watched a full game all year) but plenty of people hand over their hard earned to watch this highly compromised uber-shite. They also (ridiculously) recieve government funding for providing a social benefit (spew spew).
If you could buy shares in them I'd buy a buttload.
I also enjoy laughing at their pathetic and deeply ironic attempts to tell me how to behave myself.
I've long since stopped putting any energy into hating them.
I'm convinced that Carlton's position in the competition is entirely due to Carlton. No point blaming the environment in which we operate.
I love the highlighted line - so true! However, as for the rest of it, it's one thing to admit you brought something on yourself and another to deny all potential help. Being stupid isn't a crime.
