That clearance by Cripps in junktime q4 was just ridiculous. Rewound about 5 times.

Could be a 200 game orthodox easter ...

Good win against undermanned side who worked hard.

Really like our running defence. Kruezer getting better each week. Yarran looked more interested. Everitt showing real promise as a tall mobile forward.

Good to see another kid get a chance and show something. Amazing what happens when given a go. Earnt a full game for next week.

I am concerned about what we are doing with Menzel. If injured why are we playing him because he is struggling. Not doing anyone any good.

We need added real class through the middle and a big key forward but can't question our effort and improvement.

Going next week for the first time in over 3 years.
The club is changing off field in how it does things as well

Right on the money IMO

I don't think I've disagreed with anything he's said since he got the top job

Barker is correct. Gold Coast were appalling. The test for us is the next 2 weeks
If we want to be a top 4 side we must face the fact that Carrazzo, Curnow, White, Ellard and Rowe are coach killers.
Yes we need Rowe but minimum of white, carrazzo and ellard need to be delisted and if we are offered anything reasonable for curnow we should take it. I didnt see the stats but buckley, Graham, holman understand disposal efficiency. There has been some player development over the last 2.5;years and I think we might miss Rogers

Carrazzo and Ellard won't be around next year.
Reckon Rowe and Curnow are safe for at least a few more years yet.
Also think Armfield deserves a new contract if he keeps up his current form.

Army was great today.
White is servicable Michael Jezz.

Obvious game style change, but stats confirm. Won the clearances again 46 - 24, but also the uncontested possession 277 - 164

I know I am Capt Obvious but we are okay when we move the ball rapidly and on instinct. The moment we take the mark, then go back and survey the scene, thereby allowing the opposition to flood back, we are 'dead men walking'.

I strongly suspect Carrazzo gets paid by the 'Time on Screen'. He just holds up our flow 'time and again' when he gets the ball in open space. He takes the mark, saunters back and then gets out a pen and paper to work out his next disposal. Not good enough. Move the ball FFS!!!!!! If we stuff up moving the ball bad luck. We will never win with stop and prop, kick long to a contest down the line. The Malthouse era proved that.

We must run to beat the flood and we must play on at every opportunity to give Henderson and Levi 1 on 1 chances.

Regards Cazzesman

Good to see you not sugar coating things
By the way isn't it great to see young kids getting a game and showing how it's done. Holman gets a full game next week

Army very good today. Maybe has done enough to go on next year. Gives his all and tidy disposal/good decision making.

Holman was great in the last quarter. Great impact.

Cripps did well under a heavy tag. Still had an influence.

Murphy led well. Gut running. Everitt much more damaging as a forward. Wood/Kreuzer did a great job.

Lots of positives even though we weren't on best form. Hopefully we make an effort to play more guys through the rest of the year.

Ellard has been a warrior who has made the most of his talent. I think its time he was thanked for his services. Maybe Blaine Johnson should take that role, or Holman or Buckley or Clem Smith. We need a small forward to impact games. Ellard is not it.

When we have a serious attack to the ball and onto an opponent, we can afford to 'mess-up' with quick movement as opposed to a 'hold and see' motif.

Game plan going forward will be an interesting topic for this group moving forward..........All I've seen to date is...............the quicker, the better.

I think we're screaming out for a key back more than a key forward. Rowe was very very dodgy by foot a number of times today. He will do a reasonable job on the ruckman type forward but not so much the agile forward. White has a crack but is undersized and Jamieson is on the wrong side of his peak. Casboult, Hendo and Everitt is a reasonable forward line. I think we really need a big strong skilful back.

Agro Jnr,

You haven't got time to be Dissing me. You should be in your Dad's ear about Umpire #14 Ryan Heath re the free against White.

I expect to hear he has had flaming dog poo set alight in a brown paper bag on his front door step and his letter box blown to smithereens with a 'penny bunger'.

Not that I encourage violence but I do encourage a reality check for umpires acting like complete fools. :garthp: :garthp:

I'm not dissing, finally glad to see you've come around on Carrazzo.

I think we might be needing a new TV, after that decision, I haven't been home yet.

If Hendo stays I believe in a good side he is a defender. We also have Jaksch & Giles coming through and I still believe White, Jamison & Rowe have a few years yet. Get a dominant midfield and they will look much better.

No way, Rowe has to go.

Warnock played himself into delisting, didn't need no help.

Over 30000 showed up today for a game against Gold Coast (there were at least 100 of their supporters). Not bad ........ build it and they will come.

Kruz .... heart and soul

Sure it was the Gold Coast and sure there were some very ordinary patches but a win is a win.

Some here say that the real test is in 2 weeks time. Bulldogs will be a big test next week and so will every team after them.
