I think we just 'won' the first round of the Weitering Cup.

How are we supposed to win games when there is nobody up forward?

He also mentioned at one point in the game, Tom Bell had a brilliant intercept and charged towards 50 only to have to stop, and kick backwards because we had nobody there. This isn't the players...... this is how we are coached. It's bullshit.

It's funny because a girl at work on Monday, who's a Lions supporter said to me everybody knows how to play against us.

@#$%&! embarrassing.

I'm glad we got rid of Betts, Waite and Garlett. So useless, hanging around in the forward half of the ground kicking goals, getting in the way of Mick's strategy of dominating clearances and possession and having @#$%&! all to show for it.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I reckon if we get a decent modern day coach ... you will see a big improvement. But lets face ... its gunna take years to fix the damage done by the Madhouse. Very similar to what happened when we got Pagan. Although ... there were some excuses for Pagan ... we were already at the bottom of the barrel.

Bell is turning into a fine player. Casboult good for 3-4 excellent games per season, but always one kick away from hilarity.

Otherwise, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Casboult would be a gun in even a half decent side. CHF, relief ruck seems to suit him as he does well when he can move about. FF isn't so good for him

I'm tipping we will hear

1. Brisbane are a good side
2. The northern Blues won and we will look at who we bring in.
3. Krueser got through.
4. We will keep picking a side to win
5. And Mark Stevens....Get F%$^#D

They said they were rebuilding. We all applauded them for admitting it.

Losing was always going to be part of the rebuilding.

Whiley hasnt really shown much.
Boekhurst looks like he could be good but makes a lot of mistakes.
Cripps is a proper footballer and will be good for us.
Jaksch is a work in progress but should be good in a few years.
Clem might be a player if he gets games into him and his fitness gets to the required level.
Bell and Docherty are developing nicely.

I actually don't think our list is THAT Bad. Sure, we have some average players, but how are you expected to kick goals and win matches with the negative style of football we play.

Sure, the players need to take some of the responsibility - but Malthouse needs to cop most of it! And rightly so too.

Just wont be re-contracted.

Don't think he will be re-contracted and the scuttlebutt from journos is that MM believes he is no chance of going on.

That said, the Pres said we honour our contracts and he will not be sacked.

Interesting to see if the club at any stage tells him he will not get another contract next year and is simply coaching for time. Would he go? I doubt it.

Then again, if that did happen and we continued to be poor, it will kill us.

This is much, much worse than the debacle we were in 10 years ago.

To be fair, I think opposing teams are contractually obliged to turn up.

In 2006 we had 2 wins by round 7. Can the Super Coach match Pago?

Depends who you get. Hinkley changed a similar situation instantly. There's ability there if they ever feel like playing.

Malthouse didn't hire himself. It was the dipshit board. They are the culprits. They need to @#$%&! off. They are still there ruining the club and there is nothing we can do about it.

Five minutes after the game, and I think I'm already over the loss.

Just hope the players aren't.

Not that I think they will, but main goal for the season now is that Collingwood don't win it.
