Great news. But if there's the slightest doubt, Menz needs to be looked after. He's one of the most valuable commodities at this club right now.

@CarltonFC Injury update #2. Scans confirm Andrejs Everitt has suffered a low-grade PCL strain of left knee. Will miss 3-4 wks incl. bye rd.

Agreed, both could of been so much worse.

Put then in cotton wool and get them ready for preseason.

..agreed, don't rush anyone back, don't continue to play the player's through injuries..

As long as he's cleared there's no reason not to play him.

We should rest him up for the season, but I reckon he would be insisting on playing.

Rest him for what? He's a 19 year old kid with 20 games under his belt. The more he plays, the more he'll improve.

He can rest at the end of the season.

He has had two injuries over the last few weeks, is in his second year of AFL footy, and has a history of injuries, why is resting him such an unbelievable thought?

Can't over use young players like that, need to rest them.

Pushing Kreuzer through injuries has worked out well for us

Good news all round. Was worried Andrejs was in real strife the way he limped off.

Take it as you will, but Dr Larkins reckons bone bruising around the knee for some one who has had a knee reco should be more than 1 weeks rest. I'd be disappointed if we rushed him back considering we're out of finals contention.

No one said play him if he's injured.

If he's cleared though, I don't see the point in resting him.

..think of it as wear and tear.. ....like running in a new car, you don't go too hard too early.. ....he's played a lot of footy, he will have a sore shoulder, sore knee.. ..it's a fast brutal sport, perhaps he is a touch off with his reflexes, and he's possibly more likely to put himself into harm's way.. ..think of resting him as risk prevention..

He's played 20 games of AFL football. Needs all the games he can get for now. He has a bye week off, like everyone else, so provided he's fit and there is no damage to the knee I don't see what good resting him for the final 5 games does.
