Carlton will target kew rovers boy kristian Jaksch..
Numerous players will be on the table, carlton want to keep its first round pick,
so will be offering players, but they will target him..
Our first pick will be a key forward or key defender..

..if we are looking at jaksch and using first round pick on a kpp then we are finally building a team to peak together in the future, but still slightly staggered to further time of kbps as a group..

I've always thought that myself. From junior days the forwards are more talented, with the spuds put back.

If they can't make it up forward, chances are they will be a decent backman.

AFL history is littered with them: Neitz, Rutten etc we even have one on our list now - Henderson.

Would always prefer a forward over drafting a key back. We should have a red hot go at GWS talent such as Tomlinson.

thats exactly right...
a failed kpf is more likely to be capable of playing back .. than a failed kpd can go forward...

ive been saying that for years

besides.. i reckon the way the game is being played... chb should be relatively easy for anybody who can run.. have telescopic arms to spoil... recover.. and have sound skills... but doesnt need to be brilliant.
the game is played ahead of him
he has heaps of support in his defensive 50...
someone like mcCarthy with the right mindset should have easily made that position his.
yes i know he was a chb in his youth footy....
but he never could have played chf ....
spoiling and negating is easier than making the play

having said that... mitchell was never going to make it forward or back...

Rowe another example. VFL quality forward, yet can be serviceable as a backman at AFL level (in the contest)

The big irishman is on fire, bagged another 9 on the weekend. The O & M doesn't seem to be the most even of comps. Anyway Fev And Soh are top of the goalkicking.

Well if Rowe n White can keep going, by my reckoning the one gaping hole on the list is other key forward

Also need another key back bec Jamison is not getting younger and his shoulders are the proverbial ticking time bomb

Tall Backs - Jamison , Rowe, White

Tall Fwds - Henderson, The Bolt

I just as much assume Waite is cooked - stick a fork into him

Simple Maths really

Seeing as these maths are so simple, can you explain them to me?

I don't see any maths here at all.

McCartin please.

Jay Schultz/Jack Reiwoldt are the closest thing to a modern FF anyway.

Kyle Langford is my 'Pafloyul Special' of the year but is more a third tall at this stage. I don't think he's one of Chris' kids.

Tom Boyd still not getting a game at GWS!

Reckon he might want to come home ... what could we trade? Do GWS really want or need him?

Call me a dreamer but I reckon we should have a crack.

..dreamer.. ..maybe on crack, hehe.. ..ppl were jizzing over Boyd, ready made player just itching to rip apart the comp., truth is he still has a while to go before afl ready.. ..he should be very good, but also reasonable that he needs to work on some things.. ..difficulty will be their reserves league, that is miles off it.. ..boyd may come back, who knows.. .but a while to go before that is any chance, if he wanted out right away they would have traded out pick one, or drafted another kid..

Who's Pafloyal? Or did you get your own name wrong?

Well, obviously a rushed spelling error, it isn't a real name, after all. Stick with the real English errors.
