Also Rowe and White deserve credit for their recent form. I would still like to see Watson playing though.

Loving Menzel and Buckley. They should be certain starters from here on in.

Just think,.................. Judd, Kreuzer, Waite, Curnow and Carrazzo and we may be able to compete with the top 8.

Daisey......... pfft, don't give a stuff about that goal, start earning your $700k per year!

Gibbs and murphy are looking like a good duo in the centre. Rowe and cas are improving outta sight.

Maybe our list isn't as bad as we thought?

Was great to see some of the younger players run around and play well.

Menzel, Buckley, docherty etc all put in good performances.

Hard to enjoy the win. Our poor team will now get another week of relief. 2/3rds of Carlton's entire list needs to be shipped out. It scares me that flat track wins, like this one, and the many we have had over the last 4 years, will let our players and admin of the hook.

Maybe we will still make the top 4??
Perhaps if we overpay Frawley we will make the top 4???
Top up with a few more mature recruits to give us the final push??
Give Carazzo and Waite new extensions!!!!
Let our fearful leadership group petrify the opposition.
This group of players has completely lost me through consistent lack of effort when it mattered. It's too late. They need to be exposed.

I won't be fooled again.

Clear them out. Start anew.

Menzel, Docherty and especially Buckley show traits of toughness and desperation that our experienced players are severely lacking. It's such an indictment that their efforts stand out.

Bring on the axe.

It's a win. Not sure if it means anything else.

St Kilda are as bad as any side in the comp and a lot younger than us. I can't get excited about Yarran, Gibbs, Casboult until they produce against quality opposition.

Positives are Docherty, Menzel & Buckley. Something to build on.

Strange post. Even for you.

You can only play who is on the field against you. Surely the positives for some have to positives for the rest?
Simmo had 46 possessions. Typically hard game from him. You didn't see that as a positive?

Personally I thought the second three you mentioned were also positives but of the first group, Casboult had his best game for us IMO to follow up some pretty serviceable games over the past few weeks. Gibbs had a good game including some serious in and under work for a change. Yarran is Yarran and you get what you get. 3 goals I would have thought was a fair return. More than Montagna at the other end for example who is much lauded.

Casboults kicks were all decent efforts. None of the awful shanks OOB he's been prone to in the past. He was good.

Don't be fooled by Murphy's numbers.
He had a purple patch in the second quarter with his foot disposal but in the second half, his disposal efficiency by hand and foot was deplorable.
At least he is getting it, which is an improvement on the first few weeks but he wouldn't be happy with his own game tonight.

Menzel, Dock and Bucks are great players.

In 12 months they will be 12 months older.

Yeah but in 12 years they'll probably all be retired and THEN WHAT?????

Hmmm, we need a plan.

Happily take the win. But thought it was as unconvincing as a win could be.

Should of been a percentage booster but we had to scrap it out. Luckily for us they couldn't convert and missed chances.

Menzel, Buckley, Docherty, Yarran, Simmo very good.

White & Rowe continued some decent form.

Worried about Hendo. Been down recently. Daisy has given us nothing the past 2 weeks.

I remember thinking Josh Kennedy was a bit suspect at kicking goals............ Look at him now !

Just give the big man time. He's starting to really find his confidence in marking contests. The rest will follow with time.

I'm a Murpy fan but I agree, I didn't have him in the votes tonight. Thought he was not great in the third when it was needed.

Bryce was quite vigorous I thought.

Did anyone see the Murphy hit on revolting? Will he be ok do you think? Did not see it, just heard it on the radio.

It will come under scrutiny because it was what it was. He was trying to pull out of it. Contact was more to the shoulder and probably ricked R's neck. Should be OK.

I don't think the tribunal care if it was accidental or unavoidable, as per the Viney case.

Apparently you should be able to change direction with less than .00001 second to work with and do pirouttes around players.

It is the ballet rule apparently. It overrules common sense.

They will give Murphy anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks. That is my prediction.

Warnock must be close to the most improved player at the club this season.

Murph worked hard all over the ground. He's getting in the back 50 a lot more than he ever has. I think Gibbs is tackling everything that moves too. A couple big areas of improvement.

We are improving. I'm not sold on the game plan at times. Going backwards and chipping it around doesn't work against the hard pressing teams. We're still not taking the game on when we need too.

Henderson looks lost on the other team's best defender. We need Waite back.

Next game we should have Waite, carrots, judd and bell back. Add curnow and we'll win more than we lose, imo

I don't reckon Bell will get back in without someone being injured.
