Here's an idea. Pick the best kid from the twos tomorrow (maybe even two of them!) and give them a game next week.

Plenty of middle aged men from tonight who deserve a rest.

Another week closer to ignoring it all as well. Timely holiday. At least that slab of craft beer from Dane is looking good.

We're the worst team in the league at forcing clangers.

Just think about what that entails.

A match between a club who has taken a great look at their list and is restructuring it methodically to give themselves the best shot at a Premiership and Carlton.

A lot of people are saying bring in the kids.

OK list the kids who will improve our side. I can't see any???

Imagine playing kids who are not up to AFL standard and getting smashed by the Saints by 100 points. Is that good for development?

Bringing in the kids doesn't mean fielding a lame side. It's called integration. Expose kids to senior football with senior bodies around them and let them get a feel - give them a role to play (not a sub vest to wear).

Collingwood, Geelong, Hawthorn and any other decent team does. Hell, Essendon* has been playing three first year players most weeks this year. They get "up to it" when you give them responsibility. Look at Dylan...
