..another chance for super ruck to show us all his potential vs weak rucks, he is only 27, plenty of time....

Graham needs to come in and also Cripps (if fit). Maybe also Temay and Giles (if ready).
I'd also like to see Docherty come in however it sounds like he needs more match fitness in the VFL.
Lucas is a better option than 4 or 5 VFL battlers we have out there.
Hopefully Armfield is ready to come back however his disposal is also poor.
Maybe Casboult and/or Wood to replace Warnock/Rowe however we are only shifting deck chairs.
Watson a better option than White IMO.

Can't keep playing guys like Ellard, Robbo and Bell - Curnow is also a turnover merchant however at least he has the ability to do a tagging role.
Ellard never seems to win a one on one contest - too small and slow.

We'll win by the obligatory 7-10 goals and will be force fed bullshit about being "back in town"

We will probably win but we are garbage.

I'm no longer thinking 13th or 14th I think the spoon is an outside chance.

I would bring in 2 youngsters (any of Graham, Cripps or Temay) as well as Armfield and Casboult. Lucas to also come in.

Drop Rowe though he was ok tonight, play Casboult up forward and settle Hendo down back.

I would drop Robbo, Rowe, Ellard and white. Tuohy also to get some confidence at vfl level.

We really need pace in the side and we are better giving done younger mids ago rather thb the duds who have consistently shown their not up to it.

I would even consider dropping Gibbs with his 25 odd possession game full of no substance or urgency.

We should win comfortably.

But I think the mc will be too nervous to swing the axe too much.

If we lose this even sticks might start to turn on mick.

They probably think if we win this one we have the doggies after that and be 2-3 with west coast and st k to come.

Trouble is I think the Doggies will dispose of us comfortably.

We will come out, win well, think we are world beaters, then fail the week after, even it is GWS - I have no idea who it is, I cant be stuffed looking because it doesn't matter, we won't win two in a row.

No question about that, I can't see us getting within 5 goals of the Doggies... they have a lot more heart than our players.

I think we'll beat Melbourne, but I don't want some of the culprits to enjoy the opportunity... cut Waite, Tuohy, Rowe, White, Garlett & Robinson.
let them play in the 2's and decide if this actually means something to them.

We won't win, or we will go close to embarrassing ourselves, take your pick.

Melbourne will see their opportunity as do all middle of the road or struggling clubs who have played us in in the past 12 years.

They will throw the kitchen sink at us and have a crack, and will rattle our cage, and will fold up like a cheap tent.

Hope we lose...

Both for the laugh and the massive wake up call.

We're going nowhere anyway, so why wallpaper over the cracks?

We'll beat Melbourne in an awful standard game.

The Doggies? I doubt it. I know of a person who works at the Doggies, came there from another AFL club (not Carlton) says he's very impressed with the culture, the people, the vision for the future at Western Oval. He really believes they're on the right track, they'll belt us.

We will go in as underdogs.

Lets hope the players meeting (without the coach) was constructive.

More likely a "tell us when Mick was mean to you" meeting

You seriously reckon players that dumb could come up with anything constructive to say? Who would lead such a meeting without Judd there? Carrazzo?
