Menzel next

AS soon as we can get the ball to Menzel more (or get Menzel to the ball more) he will explode. Everything he does (although limited at the moment) is pretty damn good.

Well done kid!!!!
Excited about this lad. Think he can grow into a dominate player.

1st nomination in 3 years ( i think).

Yep, first since Garlett was nominated late in 2010.

1: I'd take an even team performance and a win over these stupid trinkets any day, any month, any year.

2: No Carlton person should ever be happy to be in the running for an award named after Rotten Ron Evans.

Always been the issue and not easy to fix.

Good thing is that he's giving himself every chance and feels a part of the club this year, when that may not have exactly been the case early in his career.

May have been true earlier in his career but is running the game out well now. And for a small player is riding the bumps well and coming back for more.

got more of the ball in one game than garlett does in two or three - and with more heart and guts

About flower time!

Well done Dylan, one of Thursday night's few highlights. Showed his more "elite" teammates about commitment. Dad would be proud.

If he wins it maybe he can get Sacheen Littlefeather to go and refuse it on his behalf.

Wow, I reckon this could be the first Carlton nomination for at least 2 or 3 years

Congrats Dylan, well deserved. One of the few highlights from the game.

Hope he carries that sort of form for the remainder of the year.

Yeah, but who's counting?

At least we have some kids now. That may make some difference.

One or two of them we should have drafted ourselves.
