He wants the club to show him a blueprint?!

They can show him the front door...

We can just dust off the plan that says we'll win two flags by 2015. That'll convince him

Gibbs like every number one draft pick is overrated by the club who picked him that fails to live up to hype. Gibbs will forever be handy footballer who lacks pace and intensity to be a star in the modern game. We should have realised this mistake three years as opposed to giving him a three year deal.

I have been saying for 7 years that the guy is overrated.good to see most supporters coming to a sense of reality but we may have got a great deal if the club had the balls 3 years ago to realise they [REDACTED] up picking him at one

Agree. Kruezer & Yarran are in exactly the same position.

I always like your work Keogh

The poor off field processes of the Club result in a poor product on the field.

Who was the genius recruiter that said ""Bryce Gibbs Number 1" at the national draft?

So we treat Gibbs like crap for years, continue to under appreciate him, and use him wherever we have holes, instead of in a position that allows him to shine in the way we accuse him of not
shining,
and then, we want to kick him out for daring to ask that he be utilised in a possie that brings out his best abilities?
peculiar.
Yes, I am an unabashed Bryce appreciator.
Yes, my sentences are way too long.
I don't know why. :?

I watched Gibbs closely last night and the way he competed was pathetic. Stand your ground Carlton and dont sign him put the pressure on him to perform and then send him home once and for all.

I'd take Ollie Wines any day of the week at least he competes and doesnt pick and chose his battles.

You think like the people who run the club.
The guy is overrated and the club made the mistake of picking him instead of Selwood. That topic has been done to death. The point is this club doesn't learn from their mistakes and doesn't admit to them either and do something about it.
Read the great Cazzeman a guy who works for the club. He hasn't nor has the club ever made a mistake in their life.

That's why a guy plays like that in his 157th game a player who has never been dropped for half arsed performances. If he goes to Port Hinkley wouldn't tolerate the effort Gibbs put in last night.
From a now seasoned player it was ordinary but from the outside the club has failed in its duty to do anything about his lack of appetite for the contest which has been going on for 8 seasons.

Fair enough keogh,
but I completely disagree with you.
I frankly don't understand the Gibbs dissing.

Have to agree with you Bluegirl....FFS play him in the mid field and leave him there, he was sensational there in last years final. Stop using him to fill holes all over the ground.

Most Blues fans i know appreciate him and don't listen to the vocal minority on forums like this

I have been a Gibbs supporter but last night was it for me. I watched him closely and he was lazy!

Do you believe he has been value for money?

..am also a fan, but a 150+ gamer being so lazy just cos he got tagged..?.. ..I know Murphy has been held when given a hard tag, but he at least would try to break the tag, and even then it would be a hard tag.. ..gibbs didn't have a hard tag, just a normal tag that worked off him at every opportunity, and Gibbs allowed too many of those..

I had a broken foot a yearago now.
Still hurts if I lie on my belly at night.
Who knows what jabs he's had, to play with a broken hand.
Look you can argue he's soft and lazy or whatever, but I think he has sublime skills and is a highly valued asset to our team.
A team that just does not have enough elite players.
Let's wait until these underdone players that had surgeries, and injured players like Gibbs, have time to heal.

Your kidding yourself when you enter the field of battle you are expected to give 100 percent. Have a look at his effort when Ellis kicked his second or leaving Vickory his man at the time when that player took an easy mark and converted the guy is so overrated the sooner he goes west the better

Having been a 'soft' player throughout my middling country and suburban footballing career, I'm well aware of the tools of the soft player's trade. Many of which were plied by Bryce last night -- including initiating contact with your opponent to prevent from getting to the contest.

And then there's not putting your head over the ball.
