A sign of things to come I am afraid. Too many players who either don't have enough talent or don't have enough ticker. we are heading for bottom 4 and the club is deluded about where they are positioned. If they really think they are in the group just below the top 4 they are so far off the mark it isn't funny. We are heading for the bottom 4 but watch us throw money hand over fist at Bryce Gibbs to keep him because they think we're not far off... Not that I want to turn this into a Bryce Gibbs discussion, more that we as a club are @#$%&! clueless and rudderless and have been for over a decade. Dumbness isn't just reserved for the players

This is what irritates the hell out of me as well.

The big pro for me was that it wasn't free to air in W.A.

I think they chose Murphy when he had that stellar year.
You need a captain that can lift the team when needed.
maybe it's not a big deal, but I can't help thinking he is not the man for the job.

Spot on. Many have been calling for changes/rebuilds etc for a few years now.

Call it being deluded....daft....dumb...or even arrogance, it has taken this club far too long to realise where we are.

This club should have been cleaned out years ago. Who will do it? Our stand in president?

List should have been blown up at end of 2012.

Collingwood are now a perfect example for us. They started it last year, will get some short term pain next year or 2. But will not flounder for the next decade - unlike carlton.


It's so hard to care for a club you know isn't going anywhere long term. Especially when the needed changes for the long term aren't coming.

our collective mindset is soft as butter. we need to find a better mix ASAP. if that means playing the first year players, then so be it.

Kruezer...just horrendous below his knees now. It was his strength
Henderson...obviously not fit.
