Isn't he List Manager at GWS? We have a List Manager.

I'm not a big believer in bringing people back to the club just because they played for it. We don't need him.

I for one would like to congratulate the club on it's approach to fiscal responsibility.

Anyone else whinging about Lance not being let in to the rooms want to take a guess at what that catering bill would have been like? We're not rolling in cash these days, and you fat cats want to roll out the silver platter of KFC, Carlton draught and harness racing betting slips like they're going out of fashion.

Technically we don't have one. McKay is GM – Football Operations....it's written into his PD. If he gets hit by a bus tomorrow - it becomes Greg Swann's job. Not ideal...but we've become accustomed to 'not ideal' at Carlton.

We have a List Management Committee that comprises McKay, Swann, Rogers and Malthouse. That's our list management team.

Takes up all facets of List Management but could be too many cooks.
You'd think that they all have different roles within that group.

A CEO and Head Recruiter have no business being involved in List Management.

I'm not sure what business Swann has in the mix........negotiator I think.

Rogers makes sense though. On what grounds would have we recruited Docherty........gut feel?

I see that still as recruiting though Harks, not list management. It's more the contract negotiations and TPP that concern me re: McKay.

I know what you're saying but List Management encompasses many factors along with those coming and going.

Silvagni may have the single hold on the title at GWS but he wouldn't be the only one at the table when it comes to these discussions.

I just worry that egos may make a mess of things if roles and hierarchy aren't clearly defined............and then we have Mathieson wanting to stick his nose in.

Out of interest, is or has Craig Bradley also been frozen out of the club following the salary cap scandal?

I thought he distanced himself from the club.

Not at all. He did his stint with Ratts...I think he was an outstanding midfield coach. He's pretty busy these days...doubt he would entertain another official role at the club.

He was probably pretty jaded with the whole system at that stage, I'm guessing
