I like this line.

A Jaguar sold by Gordon Far-k- aas."

Also, investing in Denis Armfield is fraught with danger. You are courageous to have him close to your top 5.

Just listening to SEN and Brett Anderson has us finishing 13th. Says that he doesnt know where any improvement will come from and we have a tough draw. I didnt think our draw was that bad.
Going to be an interesting year.

I think we suck, but I still think we'll finish top 6.
I am a hopeless case.

The West dropped its season preview mag yesterday. None of the 8 experts had us in the eight. Highest position of 10th.

As president of the nervous Nellie club I can understand that pov. Sure hope they are wrong though.

Unfortunately we have a professional football league where people can walk in off the street and call themselves 'Sports Journalists'. I don't know any other country where this happens. There are some decent ones working for the AFL (but they are stymied with what they can say), and some real ones who work for the Age and Australian, but the rest that appear on radio, tv and write for insignificant publications such as Inside Football and are given air time on SEN are garbage - and that's being generous.

Journalists usually spend a few years getting a 'Journalism' or 'Communications' degree. The likes of Brett Anderson have no such qualification nor right to call themselves journalists.

There are so many "non-professionals" like Peoples Elbow, who you would prefer reading rather than so called professionals like Brett Anderson.

Ah, I can still remember the first time I heard of Brett Anderson. It was about 20 seconds ago.

They should screen shot Peoples Elbow's review and send it to Brett Anderson, he might learn something.

If SEN went off the air and the Herald Sun stopped covering AFL, I can't help but feel we'd all be better informed...

I stopped listening to SEN a long while ago. I think Kevin Bartlett is the most overrated and self opinionated waste of space in Melbourne Radio.

As for the HS only have a glance when its free at the local coffee shop. So many better things to read these days.

Out of interest which 9 teams are better than us?

I don't think Carlton or Collingwood will make the 8 this year.
