Wow. Can't wait to see how Cazzesman and ThePsychologist go working together.

I guess it depends on whether he spins his normal uninformed dribble as he has already started to do or whether he drinks to the news and moves on.

I suspect it will be the former.

Regards Cazzesman

Or it depends whether Cazz is spinning his usual desperate to hang on to his job, support his mates rhetoric. We could go on all day and everyone is sick of it. In the end results speak for themselves.

The positive is that things are changing and will continue to change for the better, just proves its people higher and more influential than me that are realising the issues. The one major weakness in our football department is recruiting and I for one am happy to see changes and there are more to come.

As I said before all that concerns me is success and it's been recruiting more than anything that has been holding us back. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and brighter.

I think there is an assumption here is that 'Change is always for the better!'. Certainly this is not the case.

Not that I think the recruiting department has been great ... Its central to us improving ... we certainly do need to do a whole lot better but ...

So what your saying is that we stay with what we have because we could do worse?

Timing! What a pity Anthony Parkin has been snapped up by Port Adelaide, after about 5 years at Eastern Ranges.

To be perfectly honest, you're taking up the easiest of easy arguments that is not only popular and hard to argue with given the recruiting of late, but also quite an easy one to take given your reluctance to put your hat in the ring, and somehow, all you're doing is making it very hard to get behind you.

Quite frankly, he's making you look silly because he knows you have to make it personal at every opportunity. It's now gone well beyond "I'm a passionate Carlton supporter and I want to see it done right" and into "I have a personal vendetta and Ill be damned if I pass up an opportunity to tell everyone how shit Cazzesman is and won't rest until he's fired from a volunteer position". For someone who's had the industry experience that you have - leave that shit to Blackwell.

You taking up a position of authority when telling the casual viewers of the site what "really" happened with Hughes/the ex-Geelong recruiter/Ratten etc, when its either an educated guess or third hand info from the well connected posters on here isn't doing your argument much chop either.

Regards,

Massive hypocrite

The fact we have hardly any Hughes selected 2nd and 3rd round draft selections on our list, is one of the main reasons it was well past time for him to go.

Only Armfield and Robinson from a period of 2004 to 2010 is a flowering disgrace, there another 14 players (2nd and 3rd rounders) who should now be forming the core of our list who just are not there and Wayne Hughes has to take the lion share of that responsibilty.

And it's the 2nd and 3rd round draft selections that a club needs to nail. Usually your first round pick selects itself, although its possible to stuff that up to.

We can only hope that:

Sam Rowe, Dylan Buckley, Tom Temay, Nick Graham, Cameron Giles and Nick Holman, have a more lasting impact on our list going forward than Hughes' earlier selections.

Although if Jordan Murdoch was included on this list, Wayne Hughes might still be in a job.
