We have Brad Green

Wiley was from further back, the WC days.

I'm sure we will be bolstering our off field footy department over the off season. I'm hoping for more in recruitment.

Proven track record
Players at the Filth loved him
I don't mind replicating to a certain extent the culture MM had at Collingwood if it meant replicating their onfield success.

It seems like we can probably remove the question mark from the thread title

That's true but experience stands for something.
Sooner have an experienced brain surgeon working on me than a first timer.

Must say though that I am a little surprised we haven't looked outside the AFL bubble.

Justin Cordy was with Cricket Australia from 2005 to 2007 before joining us.

No problem with Buttifant but the Pie slops syndrome is getting beyond a joke.

I'm clearly in the minority in not giving a flying @#$%&! where these guys come from as long as they do a better job than their predecessors...

NHL is where I would look in the future.

I can't think of another game that has a similar requirement of elite endurance and strength.

yeah ive heard it all before chucky... if he was very good he wouldnt be allowed to go.

Explain that to me.

Explain how you keep someone who doesn't want to be there? Do you tie him to his desk?

Moreso, explain WHY you'd want to keep someone who doesn't want to be there.

why doesnt he wanna be there???... first answer me that and then ill answer your question

because not enough money?
not professional enough club?

hes been there 13 years and has one more year on his contract... if he wants to break it because he does nt want to be there... he is unprofessional??
I would assume thats why he signed the contract? In good faith and goodwill to each other? Also for legal reasons.
he is out because he isnt part of the new collingwood ... theyre going to restructure.
We have all the imagination of a pea

I'm not playing this bullshit - I'll answer you if you answer me - game Synbad. I'm not lowering myself to gutter level.

I will say though that according to the papers, he didn't break his contract as the final year was an optional year.

Completely forgot. Maybe the Cordy name had me thinking an AFL association.

Hockey players don't have elite endurance. They're constantly on and off with TOI (Time on Ice) averages being about 22 minutes per game. It's a completely different game from a fitness requirement. There's really no need to look outside Australia.

Don't recall where but I saw some of the beep results of these guys some years ago. Just through the roof.

Don't know how that can come about. I thought you either had endurance or didn't.

no.. hes collingwood sloppy seconds.. again!!!
if he was any good they could keep him....

they have been on a downward trend...
their fitness isnt what it used to be.

no team goes out and brings in so many guys from one club...

unless you can give me examples???

Footy like everything else is evolving.... the kinds of players that were taken and conditioned for gameplans 5 years ago are no longer being looked at...

Collingwood are no way running out games at the same tempo as a much older Geelong.
Theyre not an old side.. but they are lacking endurance etc....

Bluechucky what do you mean you wont entertain me in the gutter??... youre in the gutter with your posts..!!!...
But you pretend youre not!!!.. and you pretend you have a holier than thou attitude.. but its pretend!!!

We have an over reliance of faith in Collingwood seconds... that cant be dismissed!!!... and hes being released from his contract!!!.... read my digital lips
