They should sell T-Shirts of that, I'd buy a few! I wonder if anybody is going to make up a "Thanks Bombers" banner for next week's game. I'm sure it would make it onto the TV coverage!

Sounds like another round of thanks are in order.

I haven't seen the game as I'm in Fiji for a mate's wedding. One of the attendees is a mad as mad Richmond supporter. He was all chuffy as we Blues fans (a few of us at that) told him the half time scores from our over priced data roaming score check ins.

Then we read as it turned, then as we won.

I approached him solemn faced extended a hand and said "well, I suppose I should congratulate you."

He beamed a big grin "oh so we won!" as he shook my hand vigorously.

"Thanks... For choking! Blues by 20!!"

You know that episode of the Simpsons where they freeze frame Ralph's heart breaking as Lisa dumps him on live TV? This was the real life equivalent. I could visibly see his brain process the words and send them to his heart, and the feeling of doom wash over him.

Today is a great day to be a Blue.

And it wouldn't have been possible if not for those dirty cheating jabbers from Essendon*.

So thanks Bombers... You are indeed the gift that keeps on giving!

If you hadn't cheated and taken PEDs we would have beat you twice this year. You have lost against Freo, WCE and other last quarter heroics that were drug induced.
You got your right whack.
I don't thank you for anything other than providing some amusement for us and pain and misery for Essendon* supporters
