Good to see Kruezer taking marks but his goal kicking is terrible.

Total form reversal from his early games. Did he kick 11 straight before a behind?

..yup, that was his 1st season, was very accurate.. ..was a bit off today, but was also kicking from tighter/longer angles.. .. ....took from good contested marks around the ground as well as marking I50..

Honestly thought we had blown it and they were going to overrun us.

Very happily take the win, bank the points and move on. Big win in the context of the season and with 3 big milestones.

Thought we made very hard work of what should of been a pretty comfortable win. Lack of conversion very costly.

Murph, Jeffy and Hendo were our best IMHO.

Solid games from Bell, Cachia, Army, Bootsma, Curnow too.

Kreuz was pretty good, shame about the finishing.

Was good to see we adjusted from Monday and didn't bomb away to the spares. At least not continually.

Happy with the result but we are miles off the hawks and cats. 7-8 finish at best, way too many skill errors to make it deep into September

Really? I never felt we were going to lose this one, but the final margin was frustrating and flattered Port. Annoying to be so wasteful, but grateful that we won comfortably enough missing many key players and having no injuries.

+1 Mickstar. Mighty job by Curnow.

However it was great to see Warnock dominate with 2 kicks and 5 handballs!

oh, and one pack busting mark.
Don't know what anyone sees in him

We're a man down with either of them in the team.
Bring in Casboult and he can give Kreuz a chop out when required.

Thought Touhy is starting to show some real improvement and Scotto was great in #25O

Simmo....on thin ice

For me, yep. Like they said in the commentary, it's like we had them at breaking point for a lot of the game but could never put them away. They missed chances in the last too though we did earlier of course. They had more run and effort in the last for mine.

Was Simmo in the back pocket on Neade?

I thought Touhy had Gray, Walker had Monfries and Simmo on Neade or Wingard?

His tagging work is great, but he is a complete liability with the ball in hand.

There are lies, damn lies, and statistics. Get your head out of your stats sheet and watch the game. I thought Warwick was close to BOG. Stats don't show his blocks, shepherds, knock ons, etc.

Thought our ability to stick tackles today was really good.

Wouldn't have a clue what it is to be honest.

He was pansted by McEvoy last week and we got done.
Either way, there's more to playing ruck than just winning hitouts.
He adds nothing around the ground.....hence my one man down comment

thats just my opinion and i'll stick with it until he starts becoming a presence outside of the centre circle.

I did, and all i saw was someone who has one effort, and then lumbers around adding nothing.

The stats just happen to confirm my opinion.
