..in my opinion [no sauce], Krooz is being managed as part of a cautious approach, out of the 3 rucks i reckon if fit he's a definite starter [MM loves his work ethic and 'mongrel'], so i think Knockers and Hampson have more to prove..

..remember reading somewhere recently that he mentioned that players like Judd and Krooz have nothing to prove to him, he's more interested in the players he knows less about..

Crappy time to play the game, will be smack in the middle of "do you think you can help me in the garden for a bit" time.

Der of course they can only have a squad of 40. They are playing so many rookies ahead of a listed player in Mitchell, and we need forwards thats all. Would love to see how he goes, and he needs game time. Marcus Davies is playing - enough said..............

I would imagine because both Casboult and Hampson are (well) ahead of him at this stage.

I think we'll struggle due to our new game plan based around using the boundary and the NAB cup out of bounds rule. Expecting it to cause us a hell of a lot of turnovers.

I'm a Mitchell fan and hopeful for his future but he is not ready yet.

Good point SC.
I'll look out for that.

I'll be sitting on the wing on the fence...good view of boundary work.

Maybe that's what we want them to think....

IMO Krooz has a lot to prove. He has no where near delivered on his talent yet I there's only 2 games that I can remember him really dominating in.
His return game against Swans in 2011
Round 1 last year against the Pies.

He needs to become a lot more consistent to be in that nothing to prove category. Hopefully he's over the niggles and takes the next step this year

I am really interested to see how we adapt to the new gameplan and how the players cope with a spray from Malthouse.
We had a terrible NAB cup last year and although we started the season proper well it was ultimately an indication of the sort of season we would have, although injuries didnt help.
Just hoping our young kids show something and no injuries.

Expect Frazer to grab this opportunity with both hands. Have a feeling it may be the lucky break he needs.

What? Dont tell me its yet another miserable day in sunny Sydney, geez and everyone bags our weather.
The team will be playing in temperatures 10 deg cooler than they have been training in so will be a welcome relief.

I usually do one of two things when that happens, say no or go out early and do nothing other than get in the way and she usually tells me that I am more of a hindrance than a help and to piss off inside, it's amazing what destroying a couple of her favorite plants can do, when I just say no she gets the shits and won't talk to me, double bonus.
