If there was to be a change, which I really doubt will happen, my vote would be for Laidler. He strikes me as a natural leader, and I don't think we have many players like that. Jamo and Murph seem to be growing into 'leadership' rather than them being stamped by it.

The natural choice. Is a genuine top liner, and one of the very few on the list with a bit of "see you next Tuesday" in him. Also one of the few on the list that is comfortable with the cameras etc.

Judd doesn't need to be skipper to be a leader, in fact I doubt his role would change at all should there be a captaincy change.

I think the fact that there is no clear-cut replacement indicates that Judd is probably still the best man for the job.

For those in the know, can anyone tell me about Henderson's possible leadership abilities. He just strikes me as a really strong character. Solid with the media, physically imposingon the field, coming into his prime.. Possible candidate in 2-3 years when it might be a better time for Judd to step aside?

Carrots captain, Simmo vice captain. Laidler to be developed to take over in a few years. Murphy, Gibbs, Jamison, and Judd to make up a 7 man leadership group.

..i'd like to see Krooz put into the leadership group.. ..isn't asd vocal as others, but has come on in regards to speaking up, and says less but means alot.. ..efficient with his words, vs others being enamoured with their own voice.. ..and on-field always plays his heart out, plays for the team every game and never drops his head..
