Whilst he is probably the best off either foot, I am quite impressed with many of our guys ability to kick both feet. It seems the ones who are most notably not able to though, stand out like dogs gonads.

Great news.
Quality player.
He and the new coach have GF experience together and they are together again. Omen?

I noticed he slowed down a bit at times, but never stopped busting a gut. I think islowing down (a wee bit) has to do with ageing and the length of time he's on the ground as a midfielder. I hope we manage him in the rotations a bit more than we did this year.

He is very important to us next year, and I believe MM will take us from 10th to the GF in 2013, and Scotto will be one of the leaders who will drive the kids to produce their best because this is his last chance for a flag, and opportunities are so rare.

Good luck with the 2 milestones next year (the 250 AFL and the 200 CFC games), and I hope we send you off with a premiership medallion.

Good post.

I can not believe that we have signed him up again.

Where was he mid year when we needed players to step up??

He tries to go for plays that aren't there. Is now too slow, loops kicks.

Simply no longer required at 32, Lucas should be played ahead of him every week.

Enough is enough.

There aren't many behind Lucas at the moment.
Mick will make or break him.

Worthy of a new contract; got a new contract. Don't see what the fuss is all about.

Quote:
The court has heard the Carlton veteran has ambitions to join the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board, prompting the magistrate to consider the effect of a conviction.

His lawyer said Carlton was also likely to fine and suspend the 32-year-old for two or three matches in the new AFL season. Scotland won the Blues’ best and fairest award just last week.

The club hopes that by imposing a sanction of its own, the court will take that into account and be more lenient with their sentence, so it doesn't affect his chances of becoming a firefighter after retiring from footy.

Two year good behavior bond. Club sanction to follow.

Source is SNF, so don't blame me if its actually life with non parole.
