reckon Gibbs will be a whipping boy.
No way Malthouse would allowed an elite player like Gibbs to go so soft at a contest.

On the contrary, let's hope he becomes a pet and that Gibbs learns from Malthouse and blossoms under his tutelage.

GET POSITIVE!

He'll love Carrazzo like he did Ball.

His whipping boy will be Walker. All flash but no consistency and MM hates that.

Consistency from Walker would be a sight to behold. Certainly the type of player who could explode under the right coach. Hope he responds well to MM.

Pet will be Gibbs... no way will he let a talent slip by without some tlc

Whipping Boy will be Garlett... no way will he be allowed to get away with the garbage he produced this season

Any major change provides an upheaval but it usually also provides a shot of energy and enthusiasm (sounding a bit scarily Anthony Robbins-ish here).

It's amazing reading threads like this and thinking about what effect a circuit breaker like the appointment of MM may or may not have on an individual.

And then multiplying that by the 40 or so individuals on the list.

When you talk to ex footballers about their significant mentors they often mention a particular coach. Whatever strengths or weaknesses Pagan and Ratten may have had I have a sense that not too many of the CFC players of the last decade would nominate either of them as significant influences on their lives in the way that the players who have previously played under Malthouse might.

It may all turn to shit (like any coaching appointment) but there's a sense of positivity and energy about this appointment that may help us make some early gains simply on the back of a sense of renewal.

Or if BV's correct our list may simply turn into a cabal of rapists and murderers whose lives are irreparably destroyed by the influence of the satanic moustache.

I wonder what he'll make of Robinson.

Might provide the focus to take Robbo to the next level.

Can't wait for the team sheet come rd 1 2013. I reckon there will be a few suprises. Some walk up starts from years past might just end up in the waste bin @ the Northern Blues.

It's all over the site Caz.

If you can't see it I think you just may not be cut out for this moderating business.

I'm convinced BV is Nanette.

I think that the following players are in trouble

1. Joseph & Armfield - Sloppy turnovers will not be tolerated
2. Gibbs, Warnock - Not going in will not be tolerated
3. Garlett, Waite, Levi - Sloppy goal kicking not be tolerated

Quite possibly if he only paid attention to their Grand Finals.
