Sorry about that. Back to the subject
Yes I think the players had a lot to do with the team's performance.
Ratts couldn't do it for them.
The playing group failed, and I fail to see anything positive tfrom he other coaching staff.
They really are a sorry bunch.
I've lost a lot of respect for the playing group this year.
It does start from the top, and I mean Judd.
Kerna does cut the good yobbo maaaaate, stand by your man kind of guy image to a tee.
He doesn't create fear in anyone either. Maybe that's why the players are pretty lay back too.
Sure there were injuries but we lacked leadership moreso than talent to fill the gaps which were missing.
Scotland, Simpson, Robinson, Armfield, Carrazzo, Murphy, Betts, have all shown good leadership imo.
Bell, Casboult, McLean and Thornton have surprisingly shown leadership qualities too.
Yep I've been disappointed with most players this year, including some who showed good leadership most of the time.
That is it isnt it Bondi. Even our good players have a little chink in their mental make up that appears under the pressure of expectation. It makes us flaky. It also makes it hard to weed out the flakes. That to me was Ratts biggest fault. He didnt weed out the flakes and in the end the whole team had a "soft cock" edge to it.
The new coach will find out about this soon enough. I have doubts he will know what to do either and we will offing another coach before long.
Hopefully at some time in the next decade we side with the coach and trade players heavily.
