Hopefully it was so Swann can tell him we are withdrawing the offer we had put to him otherwise in the famous words of Teflon Terry............I'LL SPEW UP

Swann doesn't like Parkville?

Gee some rumours are ridiculous

Fact, fact, fact. Say what you like.

Oh and why would you meet a potential recruit at your club's homebase? Seriously!

Facts are usually based around evidence - where is yours?

Know someone who works on the same floor at 101 Collins and saw both of them. that good enough for you?

Not particularly.

You saw both of them, whilst visiting this someone you know? Or did the person you know see them? Would this person definitely recognise them? Are they or yourself prepared to issue a stat dec to this effect?

What floor were they on? What were the light refreshments? Did Cloke have his dad with him? Were any of the light fittings stolen from the room where this meeting took place? What was your gut feeling about what took place in the meeting? Any general vibe?

So according to you every sighting, meeting, rumour are all BS and never take place. I've heard a rumour that Tom Scully had signed for GWS late in 2011-suppose that was BS as well.So a mate who is a football freak who works on the same floor is not good enough for you? No problem.

Heard a rumour that Lee Harvey Oswald was not the only shooter. What do you reckon?

Tom Scully you reckon?

Nah, mate, he was announced as a GWS player on the 11th of September (ooo spooky) according to Wikipedia. Signed before then, during the season you reckon? Any proof? Was your mate there too?

The one that intrigues me the most is the moon landing theory suggesting that it was indeed the Nevada desert.

Will we ever know?

No use in arguing mate. I'll just accept your right. I just made this up because I've got nothing better to do. Feels like the Griswalds going around the roundabout in European Vacation.
Have a great night.

Most tend to. Everyone likes their name up in lights as a scoop-breaker extraordinaire.

In all seriousness - if you're legit about it - feel free to give us some more information here. We're so quick to get pissed off when the Damian Barrett's of this world make shit up about Ratten or Malthouse or Cloke or whoever, yet far more forgiving when we hear the first word of anything remotely useful and decide to jump on a keyboard is all I'm saying..

I'm clearly in the minority. If you can pick up a gun key position forward, without having to give anything way. And with Judd's inflated contract coming to an end. And if we can do it, without losing required players. Then I'm all for Cloke.

With Cloke and Casboult, and occasional cameos from Waite (when he's fit) up forward. And then Jamo and Hendo down back. I'd give us a real chance at the flag.

save the dollars and develop our own talent. Look whats come through when given the chance. Stocks arent as bad as people thought once the injuries and their backups (who were all also injured) started coming back. The last thing i want to see is a fev style full forward setup again.

Don't worry we only need one game where our forward line doesn't play well and everyone will want Cloke again. People have got to realise quality tall forwards don't grow on trees. Other then father sons what quality tall forwards have we recruited?
Kennedy- did nothing with us even though was still young.
Hartlett- did nothing.
Livingston- did nothing.
Cook- did nothing
Casboult- 1 good game and can't kick, be better of going back to old kicking style atleast he kicked straight, just bad action.
Mitchell and Rowe- too early to tell but you wouldn't bet on them to make it.
Plus a whole lot of more tall forwards that did less then nothing.
Fevola- 1 in over 25 years. Even we are crap recruiters, crap developers or unlucky. Ok i will include Kennedy so 2 in 25 years.
