Dont reckon its gonna be a footy match myself.Reckon its gonna be an old style Blues Tigers inner suburban war.If we bring that old Carlton GRIT to the "G" the game is ours.

I want to win against the Tigers...Gotta win!

Hate 'em. Yellow and Black. Skin em alive
Coz they're from Tigerland.

Pick the best availble.
Tiggers be out to make amends for the GC and NM losses, but they'd be feeling down....with the season slipping away (like us)

Can't see any reason why we wont see Henderson or Kreuzer the next 7 weeks with 6 games to go....unless its real bad news.
OP, saw hip....sometimes just a bit more rest is all that's needed...which these 2 started a week ago.

Expect Warnock and Robinson back, and can't see why Tuohy wont be back after 3 weeks without any match day punishment.

Wouldn't be surprised if White is selected.

I don't think they'll drop Casboult unless he's too sore/injured.
It'll do him good and he'll be a HUGE pain in the arse for the Tigers defenders.

Bower Russell Curnow are expendable, as are Bell, McInness, Casboult and Dale, but I'd rather keep the enthusiastic Bell, McInness, Casboult for another week against the young Tiggers
.
If Jammo's not right to player then Bower should be retained.
White may be the tall for Reiwoldt....ouch :yikes: You never know.
Gotta stop supply and win in the midfield. Cliche.

I'd tag Cotchin as the only tag.
Use a tagger like Ellard and release Carrots or go with Carrots as the tagger.
Murphy and Gibbs are the class Rover and ruck rover.
Robinson runs into midfield from wing as does Scotland.
Bell and McLean to rotate the grunt work and workover Cotchin and Martin. Bell on Martin would be intersting.
Joseph and Armfield provide extra midfield run. Sub might be White Ellard or Curnow.

Let Tiggers worry about Murphy Gibbs Scotland and Robinson. Their midfield don't hunt players, they hunt the ball, so that should work well if Warnock provides more our way than theirs.

I hope Ratts gives Betts, Garlett and Yarran a few 5 minute stints in the midfield. Mix it up to run the Tigers off their legs at the nig ground.

WE MUST WIN THIS because its flower Richmond!!!

Its time to kill off Richmond's season, in my book 10 loses equals no finals.

If we play our cards right and continue to put in then we may only drop to the Swans.

At minimum we should beat Richmond, Brisbane and Gold Coast

Essendon* as will be Judds return and he will be ready to inflict some pain. Motivation will be doing it for Cazz

Each week until the Essendon* game we will get players back.

Against Richmond - Should get Warnock, Henderson, Kruezer, Robinson & Tuohy

Against Swans - Should get Waite & Walker back

Against Essedon - Should get Simpson back & Judd

Upside is that we now know that Collins, McInness, Watson, Lucas & Tom Bell can play. Will soon know if Levi can.

So with some smart drafting, better preparation and some dumb luck 2013 looks like a better season..

Also time will tell us what happens in the coaches box

I really want to win this - kill off the Tigers' season & maintain the hoodoo over them.

If our season is going to be snuffed out, I'd prefer that it was at the hands of the Swans.

Kangas & Saints will both win, with Freo 50/50.
So a loss on Saturday will probably be it.

guess you'll be powdering your nose a fair bit eh?

and, before anyone starts, I just mean there'll be a lot of game watching on the iphone, in the privacy of a cubicle.

of course, you could get struck down with flu after the ceremony.

on the other hand, could be the safest place to be. away from any potential pain.

On weekend form, the Tiges will win by 6 goals.
We would need a few good ins to have a good shot.
I'll be honest, if we could only have one more win for the year, I'd rather the Bummers.
A loss would end Ratt's "mathematical" finals chase and allow us to treat injured players as they should be treated ie rest and recuperation.
I want to win but a loss isn't the end of the world for me.

Anyone else pleased with Collin's 3 goals and Griggs costly miss.

Genius trading? ;)

x 2

Realistically our finals chance ended when North won yesterday.
I'd love it if we beat the Bummers in a few weeks - other matches are not so important.

Like when someone breaks into your house to steal your old flatscreen, cut's himself on the glass on the broken window and bleeds to death sometime after leaving your house.

He dies and the insurance buys you a brand new flatty, with more STUFF!!

McInness is rapidly becoming far from expendable.

This will be a cracking game and will set the standard for new found fierceness in the rivalry between us.

It will hinge on which team truly believes that their season is still alive. That belief will get the respective team over the line.

Blues by bugger all.
