Does anyone else find it vaguely bizarro that our President thinks it's okay to admit publicly that he "doesn't know a lot" about the resignation of the person entrusted with our reserves team after just half a season?

Not in the slightest. Remember that night at Moonee Valley when (as VP) he admitted that he didn't know much about the finances and "left that stuff to Jack"?

Wonderful footballer though.

His backing of Ratten reminds me of Ratten's "line in the sand but not really a line in the sand a partial line i n the sand"

Kreuzer?

I think Eddie will toy with him, he'll be way too savvy for Sticks. But...

Look, at the end of the day we're all mates.

You are right.

Poor ol Sticks will realize he being treated like a banana but unfortunately he so good natured he won't want appear rude.

He may be an ordinary Pres but he's a A grade human being. I feel sorry for him.

Don't be too sure about that, Sticks is a very honest upfront bloke - he will speak his mind regardless always has always will. He just doesn't speak unless he has to.

He's the pinnacle definition of words are cheap - actions are louder. He is savvy enough to put the likes of Eddie in his spot, even if it means clocking him. :)

Wonderful? Awesome footballer!!! And awesome on-field leader!!

In fact I'd go so far as to say he was the 2nd best CHF Carlton has ever had AND the 3rd best captain!!

How many times have we heard this spin in footy.
Ratten is in serious trouble if we get thrashed this Friday.
On ya Bruce. Kernahan once again fails in the leadership stakes

The first link works...and at this stage will work until the end of the year. At least I hope it does. It's not a guarantee, but we'll support it to the hilt...this week...I think.

In one brief interview Sticks has shown why he's not a good figurehead for the club.

Too emotional. And, worst of all, he did not communicate a clear and coherent message.

Hopefully he goes better on EMT, but I won't be holding my breath.
