LEADERSHIP is what is really lacking. Let Swann do his job. Get leaders to the club who are allowed to make the tough decisions and point the team in the right direction. Onfield performances are showing a distinct lack of LEADERSHIP.

Gett Judd.

THIS.

With Delidio, Cotchin, Martin, Foley and even Tuck up and about, he can't even get a run in their midfield. Shouldn't take a lot to get him across.

Might need to share that honour though if we could engineer it your way we'd be bound to win!

Long term thinking but we need to re-develop The Park so we have a true home ground advantage again, the alternative is to have a regional base?

Interstate teams + Geelong (Sardinia) + Hawks (Inceston) + Norf (Slowbart) all have a real home ground advantage.

We are stuck with a home ground disadvantage.

Thats what Elliot tried to do....but no one wanted him to do it.. maybe he did it all wrong.. I don't think local council will allow it. Besides AFL are on the cusp of purchasing Etihad and probably give us a carrot in the multi millions to make it our permament home ground...hope not.

-great opportunity to see our whole list.
-watson, bootsma, buckley, mitchell, mccarthy, mcIness, kerr, bell, o'keefe, casboult, lucas, carter etc.
all players will play at different times due to match fitness, coming of injuries etc, but play them.
-trade for picks. maybe hampson, russell, bower, waite or even simpson.
-chase a tall forward fringe player like robbie tarrant from north, tom derickx from tigers, charlie dixon from gold coast.[examples only] it will cost us nothing.
-SCOTT BURNS as coach, simple, he can take that love affair away.
-last one, put the players on notice, get serious or your gone seasons end.

Just out of curiousity Psych, what were your thoughts on us getting Michael Voss for our coach at the time?
(IMO your listings seem very "flavour of the month".)

Yep - My biggest concern currently. Even more so than our current onfield prediciment.
We need to get the f**k out of there and quick. Our players are stuffed from playing on the surface, we can't play indoor footy and the supporters (our membership no.) prove they prefer elsewhere. What other facts do we need......oh yes $$$$$ from home games!!!!!!

Interesting comments by Luke Hodge during the summer about Etihad when asked about its surface.
If I remember correctly something along the lines of, you really feel when you have played there.

Our home ground :yikes:

I'd forgot about the post. Interesting isn't it. Posted TWO years ago and you pick on the one obvious mistake. In fairness who knew what he was involved in.

Imagine if we had done 90% of what I suggested?

Just shows we just seem to be going around in circles. No wonder people are angry and frustrated.
