A couple on here have Geelong nearly winning every game for the rest of the season. They don't look the same side. not playing with the same intensity and I have great doubts whether they'll finish top 4.

We're a great spot at top spot this year especially with Collingwood and Geelong not looking as good.

Hope that hasn't jinxed us...lol!

Possibly the month of mid-season footy from hell.

Carlton 18-4
Hawthorn 17-5
Geelong 17-5
West Coast 16-6
Adelaide 15-7
Collingwood 15-7
Sydney 14-8
North 12-10
------------------
Essendon* 12-10
Fremantle 11-11
St Kilda 12-10
Richmond 9-13
Bulldogs 8-14
Brisbane 7-15
Port Adelaide 6-16
Melbourne 5-17
Gold Coast 3-19

Was delighted to see Essendon* just a game ahead of North coming into the last round. North have GWS in the last round, the divers have Collingwood

I'm with you Jimbo, but I reckon the Pies have plenty left in them. They are not panicking.

Essendon* 6-1 currently.
Outstanding fixture;
RICHMOND - win
GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY - win
MELBOURNE - win
SYDNEY SWANS (H) - win
BYE
FREMANTLE (A) 50 / 50
WESTERN BULLDOGS - win
ST KILDA - win
PORT ADELAIDE - win
GEELONG CATS - loss
HAWTHORN - loss
ADELAIDE - (A) 50 / 50
NORTH MELBOURNE - win
CARLTON - biased but smashing coming up!
RICHMOND - win
COLLINGWOOD - 50 / 50

That to me equals to 15 + wins. Can't see how they will not finish top 6. Soft/nice fluffy draw.

That scenario sends the Bummers to Perth to lose the first week and very likely playing the Hawks the week latter (if the beat the swans)

Out in straight sets. I can live with that.

Nah 1st plays 4th remember? So Carlton host the Bummers and WC host Adelaide.

Would love to play Adelaide at the MCG in a final.

sterling comment from the article

Quote:
The incredibly easy draws of Carlton and Adelaide will have a huge impact on this years premiership.
It amazes me that there wasnt an outcry at the time the draw was released. There should be an enquiry for the good of game. Such a draw can only be the result of gross incompetence.
The value of the 2012 premiership to the winner ihas already been downgraded..
People are aready referring to Carlton as "Chris Judd and the Easy Draws""

Like we did the draw ourselves or Adelaide did their own. Makes a difference to Collingwood getting the rails run most years.

Stevie Wright played for the Swans but nobody every called them 'The Easybeats'. I wonder why.

Hmmm,
wish we were playing Swans at the G.
At the moment, it's hard to imagine Bombers losing to Cats.
They'll hopefully lose to Hawks and definitely lose against us.
Kaww, dammit..they might end up top 4. :-(

I'm biased of course but I wouldn't call our draw incredibly easy. It's not the "hardest", but certainly not the easiest.
