Carlton 43 at quarter time.

Collingwood 62 at full time. 3 goals 1 behind more.

I have two incredibly dear mates who follow Collingwood.

Over the last 10 years I've been to many Carlton-Collingwood games with them.

One of them left for Europe on Wednesday and the other died 20 months ago.

cauliflower.

To quote GWS last week. I love these guys.

I owe Carrazzo about 8 years of apologies. A true example of a guy who has/had some great qualities as a footballer, but only truly are they shown when surrounded by such talented players.

Kreuzer/Hampson duo was insane, and the clearence work was sublime.

Perspective with who Collingwood was missing, but the margin must be taken into account. Krakourer, Davis, Leigh Brown, McAffer, and a couple of others gone, replaced by kids, are therefore exposing a couple of others who may have been made to look better than they are due to playing in a dominant side.

Liked the "lid on it" vibe after the game....

....much more restraint than I showed in my lounge room!

Really. Maybe the senior players could step up to?

The 'Premiership Quarter' is back!

The third quarter was outstanding.

Absolute dominance.

Very happy with the win however Collingwood were always going to struggle after losing Reid and Ball.

Gee Tuohy looks like he's been playing the game all his life.

Not sure about playing Bower up forward - he was pretty good down back however. Would have liked to see Lucas contibute a little more especially with the 1%ers. I think maybe we'll start with Duigan next week and make Lucas the sub.

The Reid and Ball factor was relevant in the final margin, but we were all over them in the first quarter when in was legitimate 22 v 22. Cant remember the last time I've ever felt so comfortable during a game against such a top side.

Got tough with a couple cheap shots, but demonstrated how dependent he is on the comfortable flow.

Expected a 6 goal win and received a 10 goal win.
I can live with that.
