Just blowing off the cobwebs... and my lord do we have some cobwebs.

Won by 14 scoring shots but gave us all an aneurism early in the last.

Best thing about this game is that it was won largely by our second tier players.

Really happy for Bower... pray he gains confidence from this and commands his spot in the team.

Did you know Carrazzo is a shit kick, yet flogged Cotchin when playing n him :-)

PS: I tipped Carrazzo BOG, just read the pre-games thread :-). Even tipped who he would play on!

Did you know that you were right and Judd would again not be Mr Important!

thought the second string group was excellent tonight, a very good all round performance. Perhaps JR was a bit out of sorts, but everyone else did their bit. Only downside was kicking from set shots. We need to convert better against better sides.

Channel 7 guys now pushing our depth, talking about players still to come back....

12 goalkickers to 6.

And here was me thinking that it was all about Reiwoldt, Vickery, Miller and Bower....

We were pressured in the last quarter and the boys withstood the pressure and kicked away. That was the difference between the nab cup we didnt give a s#!t.

Was found out on Cotchin, but then again I need to watch the replay to analyse more closely.

Maybe I was talking about JR Ewing. But maybe I wasn't.

I'll go now.

Well done boys.
Happy for Bower, Army who performed well under pressre.
Hendo and Laids started how they finished.
Big men look fit and dangerous and worked well together.
After a slow start the mids did rise which was encouraging.
Special mention to Simmo who did great work at the start to keep us competative when the rest were slow to get started.

Disappointed. We're not top of the ladder!

Quite frankly, just wanted the win tonight. Very happy with a 7 goal win noting we missed too many set shots also.

Thought we were pretty good in the clinches after getting a bath early.

Plenty to work on but very pleasing effort first up to get rid of the cobwebs.

Just wish we would convert better especially from set shots. Thought they got closer than they should of been. Can't be so wasteful against the better sides.

Well done blues
