In case you haven't heard, some flooding on the Sunny Coast with 6 evac centers around the place (mainly the hinterland.) In conclusion, its very wet! Meant to slow down in coming days but the ground will still be pretty wet.

ha ha.

Yeah, with the rain, I think the best they could hope for is a dead track. Wouldn't expect it to be like Wangaratta though,

What's the latest with those who are yet to play a game? Judd, Walker, Duigan, Waite, Robinson especially. I assume Jamison is not ready.

They will be playing (allegedly)
Jammo will play (allegedly) against the Save the Childrens.

Was heading down that way today and thought I'd check out the ground... lets just hope there isn't anymore rain, although we did get some sun briefly today!

While the playing surface looks ok, from my experience the drainage is average.

If the game is in any doubt, why not just fly the Lions to PP instead??
I'm sure both teams want to play footy more than waterpolo.

This could be the birth of a new hybrid sport.

Imagine Juddy on a skiffle board, zooming through the mid field. The wing men have knee boards...and then, once you hit chf or chb, it's traditional running only.

A few more millimetres of rain might spoil the oval, or send it down the river if it's loose turf. :P

Still, it'd be nice to Judd walk on water again.

For Dwayne's sake cancel the game so we at least get 2 points!

Did Carter play for Northern last week, or is he injured too? (Can't use the Nickname without confusing things now).

Makes perfect sense. There is no way the water will subside by Saturday unless they pump it out........even then they are pushing it.

@AFL_JasonPhelan @Carlton_FC's Mitch Robinson off for scans today after reporting a stiff back in training on Wed. Has also had some hammy soreness recently.
