Did you do you do the old "why aren't the blues taking advantage of the Sydney market bit?". That always impresses Carlton presidents I've heard.

Funnily enough, I don't think I did.

I love the way people like to put their heads in the sand and manipulate discussions to suit their arguments.
Now the AFL moved us, Collo is a terrific person and I should just be quite about my thoughts because he played for us!
Well I hope JE and Campo and Red are listening.

It was always the case that the club was moved by the AFL in their attempts to justify Docklands. Anyone who didn't have their head inserted into their own fundamental orifice during that time could see that. Carlton were never going to be able to walk out of PP to the MCG.

From what I see, it's you who has made this argument personal from the start.

Why don't you enlighten us all then, oh wondrously knowledgeable one?

I thought I was doing that before you started making it personal again.

Just incase you missed my points previously;

1. talk to someone who was involved at the time of the voting
2. talk to Goughy at the G
2. even talk to some of the players at the time when Collo was incharge

Then when you have done your "homework" come back in here and we can discuss like adults.
The other thing is make sure when your down from Sydney you do give yourself time to do all the above thoroughly.

The patronising would work a lot better if you didn't spell like a 5 year old.

Sorry, I don't buy it. I can accept the idea that Ian Collins would have had a vested interest in a move to Telstra Dome, however, given the offer the MCG gave us at the time and pressure from the AFL to leave PP, I'm sure we would have ended up there anyway whether he took over as President or not.

I know its your thing to hold on to this 10 years later, and you like discussing it, but really, mate, it's neither here nor there. Former player, administrator and President. Should be enough to give him the respect of holding your personal opinion to yourself, I'd hope.

The step before that is that he took over the job that nobody wanted.
Who is kidding who?

Good luck Collo on your retirement.
