I thought we had played in three finals series

That tells us absolutely nothing, I'm sorry.

Geez, I thought it illustrated that Carlton are the one side out of a possible 12 sides who are punching with the most successful sides of the past seven years, and therefore, are arguably best placed of the remaining 12 sides to be the next new premiership side. The fact we have made the finals 2 years running now probably backs this theory up.

I apologise if this is not new news to you. In the future I will make sure I consider whether you are already aware of my thoughts, before I post them on TC.

Have a great weekend Rhino.

So eliminating the sides who have won a flag in the past few years and still in contention, we're the next best amongst a bunch of unproven sides, teams rebuilding and new franchises?

I'm glad that despite posters giving you the benefit of the doubt as its off-season and theres nothing to talk about, you've given us the vital information that we're possibly a better side currently than Adelaide, Brisbane, Essendon*, Fremantle, Melbourne, Kangaroos, Gold Coast, Greater Western Sydney, Port Adelaide, Richmond, St Kilda, Sydney and the Bulldogs. Some quality sides there. I wasn't quite sure how we stacked up to the Gold Coast, but now I know. Here I am thinking avoiding looking at the ladder for the last 12 months was a silly idea.

Just out of interest, where were West Coast again, this time last year?

Richmond wont be too bad in 2012.

A modest amount of excitement for KB, but no box seat.
