That's the case for all our games at Jihad... to my knowledge, we have not had a fully ticketed game there.

But if big fully ticketed soccer fixtures at this venue are to go by, then level 3 should be allocated seating ie. general admission price plus booking fee.

AFL Members tickets for this only went on sale Saturday unless you bought pre-allocation in February.
I dialled in Monday and everything was gone. Called up. All gone.
Sitting level 3 is ridiculous, so I opted for Members Dining which guarantees a Level 1, Section 10-12 seat.

It's a rort. AFL and Club Members are given the same piece of a small pie at Etihad. Even though Ticketek's Management at the MCG shits me to no end (used to always be able to get level N if early enough, now Level M sells first. I dont know how this works), you can still always get a seat on the lower deck rather than in the heavens.

It's a healthy sign for the competition that there are lots of people cramming for seats but the problem now is that people who have paid for a season pass have to miss out if they aren't in quick enough.

The AFL should address this. Next year I might just bite the bullet and buy reserved seats for all games in Feb when they go on sale.

I had thought only up to about Row G of level 3 was sold as an allocated seat and anything above Row G was left for general admission even if a fully ticketed game.

I guess we will find out soon enough.

Perhaps that what a 'Level 3 premium game' means.

Just called the club.
Re Captains Club Members.
Carlton have reserved the usual aisles specially for us..and we get first dibs on Monday.
We will be getting an email about it supposedly.
So we have to book at Tiketek, using our member no's, and pay $4.50 booking fee to get a reserved seat in the usual area.

yeah..I guess people would figure that out...
and there is no booking fee..they are just charging about that amount for the tickets.

I think I am more pumped up about this game than the Collingwood game.

I prefer going to Etihad than the G, because of logistics, but as a club we are getting screwed by this place. I wish Smorgon had prevailed on this. 3 more years I believe then we can negotiate a deal from a hand of strength.

I just booked seats on level one for this game. They may have released some more seats so get onto Ticketmaster quickly before they all go.
