The initial disgnosis after last Friday night was that he would definitely miss this weeks game.

Carlton will play a cat and mouse game all week. Name him in the side on Thursday and then Judd will be late withdrawal on Friday afternoon.

twiggs needs to give juddy a few ankle and foot massages during the week to get him up for friday... If we can't beat melbourne without him then we are not as good as everybody thinks...

Must rest him.

I am no doctor, but have had 3 ankle reco's.

A week off......unless he is 100% fit.

Send 22 fit blokes out with the capacity to work as hard as we have been.

But you're going to bet against them, right?

No not this week, i dont think i will bet against them for the next 6 weeks ( Melb, Port, Brisbane, Sydney, West coast, Richmond )
Surely we will win all of them

Don't think Sydney, West Coast or Richmond can be taken for granted, particularly WC.
None of the matches should be - Melb, Port, Brisbane we should be aiming higher: must smash.
I would expect to be able to beat Sydney at home.
West Coast is still unknown quantity - we SHOULD be better but they have been playing great footy.
Richmond on the improve and with momentum at the moment. A lot can change by then. Bu no taking for granted.

West Coast are the team to keep an eye on....have the potential to pinch the one spot left up for grabs in the top 4....we simply must not falter over the next 6 weeks....and given the ease of our draw and key players such as Ed and Kruze coming up we should be setting ourselves up over the coming weeks for a genuine tilt....

I remember around about this time last year we had a very tough draw up to Round 9 with many "experts" thinking we would have 1 win on the board. We did exceed expectations but when the "easier" games came along we dropped the ball.
Judd should play if he is in no risk of doing any longer term damage to the existing injury.

Agree woof, it's the next 4 games I am most worried about. We will be favorites but by all means we need to be on our toes. I keep remembering last year after the break, we were dreadful.

The question is, if it's a case of wanting to rest him just to be safe... who would we bring in? There doesn't appear to be anyone with decent enough form to demand a spot, even if it's for one week.

Unless he's going to do more damage by playing, I say put him out there. Even if he reprises his forward line cameo from last week with the odd burst through the middle if we need him, that's probably of more use than an out of form AJ, for example.

Time to step up Bryce and Robbo.

I think we should rest Judd this week, and Im pretty confident that our midfield led by Murph (as he did last Friday night) will step up a gear in the Great Man's absence.
