Only people who disagree with you are biased

I agree.

It will serve no purpose to drop out coach mid season.

However, it's becoming clear that Ratts can't get the best out of our list and we still seem to be stuck in the same gear we were 2 years ago.

So whilst I agree it would be silly to drop Ratts this early, we should be at least looking at who else is out there!!!!

correct we did draw but for us taking into account my other points, we lost. We have had consecutive number one picks, quite a number of first round draft picks and potentially the best player the game has seen.

we have a team of wanna be superstars. attitudes can be coached. so far ratten has failed miserably.

sorry but i am really pissed. i feel like i have been watching a bad movie over and over again.

Nope, no matter which way you look at it, we didn't lose today, we drew.

Bullcrap! They had two players dead and Simpson kicked the ball out on the full. Make no mistake we lost. The history books won't agree but we know better.

We so smart.

Esserdn will take more from this game than we will...

Well done Brett Ratten ... I thought we would be thrashed today ... excellent work ... unlucky in the end.

When we play them late in the season we will beat them easily (all the hype will be gone then).

A draw is better than a loss but some people fail to realise that the likes of where Essendon* are, at this stage of their developement, they should not be starting favourites. It says a lot about us if people expected them to thrash us.

Agreed, at our respective stages of development we should be spanking the Bummers...

...but if people are of the belief that the Bummers are ahead of us and all they did was change their coach...

Just saying

It's not the win/loss/draw for me, it's the stupid selections before the game, and the bloody mindedness on match day. Ratten totally [REDACTED] up the sub advantage we had today.

Listening to MMM, even Spud the dud was calling for that move earlier. In the end Ratten finally acted - but it was way too late. Walker should've come on 20 mins into the 2nd seeing the scummers were down to 2 on the bench and Henderson was having a shocker. actually, Thornton should've been playing the sub and AW should have been in the 21.

You can't buy experience, but for some reason Ratten likes to persist and persist with kids, then @#$%&! them off and replace with more inexperience when we need it the most.

It's easy in hindsight, but FFS :screwy: .

Collins - After his game last week? FMD  . What happened to the days when you'd get some games under your belt in the 2s and force your way into the side?

Game was lost at MC..
There is no way a team coached by Malthouse or Roos would ve put up a softc*ck performance like the one we put on today...
What cost us more then anything else was taking too long to sub Hendo out of the game... Why not get someone with the pace that Walks has into the thick of it 10 minutes into the 3rd rather then waiting til a few minutes before 3 quarter time when the opposition will have time to rest ina few minutes anyway, thus leaving us with no opportubnity to exploit their lack of leg speed...

I think we lost this game at the selection table and we are not getting our subs right. Hendo & Walker should never have been subs.

This is an opinion site. Therefore, everyone's position comes from little basis in fact or reason. All opinion is biased. That's why it's an opinion.
Carlton have done very little in the last year to change my mind about its fragility, its over reliance on Judd, its use of personnel, its player development and its non existent structures.

Anyway, if I'm allowed and its OK with you, that's my personal biased view of where we are at
