Excited to see how these guys go. What their role in the team will be etc. Particularly like seeing Watson & McInnes in the squad.

A lot of youngsters/newbies to have a look at, which is good but would have thought M.Austin & ROK would have been lining up too. Strange that S.White isn't named either as I would have liked to have see these rotated through as well.

We know Kreuzer, Hendo, Mitchell, Garlett, Collins and Carrazzo are recovering from injury and Judd is being rested.

What's happened to White? Brock? WTF.

McCarthy isn't a starter either, nor is Austin...still problem with his quad perhaps.

What about O'Keefe? Houlihan? Dare?

A few sidelined.

It will fantastic to see Casboult playing as well as Curnow, McInnes, Duigan, Laidler, Twomey, ZAC, Cachia and Watson.

Rubbing hands

I have no interest in the scoreboard and lots of interest in how the young blokes adapt to the tempo and their willingness to work for each other defensively and offensively.

Duigan and Laidler's debuts will be fascinating as well.

Can't wait!

Really excited about the opportunity to see so many of the young guys tested. I am sure they will give a good account.

No way we should beat pies in this format/circumstance, but I expect a competitive showing. Can't wait!

where the hell is Brock McLean? surely he could play one of the games? I know they are nursing him through, but seriously this is getting ridiculous. If his body can't take the rigours of two 20 minute halves, I have grave concerns for his ability to put any decent run of games together. Seriously hope I'm wrong but I reckon we'll be lucky to get 10 games out of him this year

Could it just be reward for effort.

Those who train the best get to play.

McLean, Carrazzo, Judd & Houlihan all getting a rest this week. I think we'll see Scotland miss a game at some point as well.

Out of all the non-participants, only Dare's non-selection strikes me as odd.

Whats the go with Collingwood having equal numbers too us? I thought the two teams not dealt the break in the middle get lesser players to use.

maybe they will cut the squad by three - leaving three emergencies?

Good to see the youngest player on our list, including rookies, will be getting a game.

Curnow is the one I am most looking forward to see how he goes about it on Saturday.

Tigers really have no depth, just a bunch of young kids they are banking on being diamonds in the rough.

I'd play kids against kids then a stronger team against the Pies.

SEN were raving about Curnow this afternoon - saw him as a major addition to the squad...

I thought J.Dare was tearing it up pre X-mas training time but I don't think he's lined up for either of the intra's either so something's amiss there. Would have been good to see how he fared in this comp. Hopefully he'll get a gig sometime throughout the pre-season.

I want to look at Labi and Zac.
I also want to see the rest but I never get the chance to go to training so for mine this is the way to look at the kids and try and see if they have the IT factor that will lift them into the best 22 in the future.
I am a bit disappointed Grigg isn't playing but I'll see him in Rd 1 in a few short weeks.
It will be interesting to see the crowd tomorrow as well. We are going to get there early just in case it fills quickly but equally it could be empty because of the 'Disney' factor.

For me it's footy. Bring it on.
